The Weiss Kreuz OVAs technically come after the TV series. Kaori and Akira, sister and brother whose parents were murdered by the American military then said to have died in an accident, are trying to do themselves what Weiss is meant to do. Kaori, a teenage girl who attends the same school as Omi, hacks into the American database while her brother, Akira, goes in to kill the man responsible. Since he is trying to do this Weiss gets a mission to destroy him. Omi, being friends with Kaori, and Ken, thinking that Akira and Kaori are in the right, both refuse the mission. Aya and Yoji, however, accept. This leads to conflict within Weiss.

Satou Tatsuhiro, a 22 year old young man, is a NEET (Not in Employment, Education, or Training) and a hikikomori (meaning acute social withdrawal). He believes everything around him is a conspiracy, including the reason why many people, himself included, become hikikomori. Due to this, Satou creates a strange conspiracy theory which includes the Nihon Hikikomori Kyōkai (NHK), a secret organization with the intention of producing a hikikomori filled world. Satou intends to break free from the NHK’s clutches, but cannot, since he finds it too frightening to go outdoors by himself; that is, until he meets Misaki Nakahara, who selects Satou for her “project” that she claims will cure him of his hikikomori ways.

Wild Arms exploits the tales of Sheyenne Rainstorm, a deadly gunslinger trapped in the body of a 10-year old boy. Together with bandit Kiel Aronakus, card-throwing dame Loretta Oratorio, vampire girl Mirabelle Graceland and a weird creature named Jerusha, Sheyenne embarks on a long journey to find out about his lost past and figure out who placed him in his current body.

Witches are individuals with special powers like ESP, telekinesis, mind control, etc. (not the typical hogwart and newt potions). Robin, a craft user, arrives from Italy to Japan to work for an organization named STN Japan Division (STN-J) as a replacement for one of STN-J’s witch hunters who was recently killed. Unlike other divisions of STN, STN-J tries to capture the witches alive in order to learn why and how they became witches in the first place.
