Hino goes to a school that specialises in music and has two streams: the normal stream and the music stream, where the music students are regarded as the more elite. She was running late for her class one day when she saw a tiny fairy, who seemed really excited that she could see it. The next day, the entrants in the music competition, who are decided by the school, are announced. Hino’s name appears on the list - except she doesn’t play an instrument. The fairy gives her a magical violin that can be played by anyone. Reluctantly, she enters into the competition and is forced to deal with the prejudices of her peers.

In a world that looks like the 19th century with anti-gravity devices, Claus and Lavie are pilot and co-pilot of a Vanship and act as couriers. They become involved with a mysterious mission after rescuing a little girl from a strange star-shaped killing machine. Keitaro Urashima is a young man with a strong dream. He desperately wishes to make it into Tokyo University in order to fulfill a promise he made to his childhood friend, even though he can no longer even remember her name. This dream falls apart as he fails the entrance exam for the second time. After this failure, he moves in his Grandmother’s hotel, The Hinata Lodge, but finds that it is now an all girls dormitory. Worst of all, he is forced into becoming the manager. He has a lot of difficulty convincing the girls to respect him and it seems that he just cant do anything right.

Naoto Ooizumi is the screenwriter for the all-female Super Sentai TV show, The Super Transforming Cosmopolitan Prayers (CosPrayers), although this is only known by the show’s producer. Naoto has a crush of one of the show’s stars, Natsumi Yagami. As the show proceeds so does their relationship, with many twists and turns along the way.

Twelve-year old Aoyagi Ritsuka is left with his insane mother as his only family when his brother, Seimei, is killed suddenly. After moving to a new school, he meets Agatsuma Soubi, who claims to have known his brother. Ritsuka eventually discovers that Soubi and Seimei used to be a fighting pair, whereby Soubi was the “Fighter” and Seimei was the “Sacrifice”. Now that Seimei is gone, Ritsuka has inherited Soubi, who will become his “Fighter”. After learning that Seimei was killed by an organisation known as the “Seven Moons”, Ritsuka decides to investigate into his brother’s death, with the sometimes useless help of Soubi, along the way.

Koizumi Risa, taller than the average girl, and Atsushi Ootani, shorter than the average guy - their constant bickering and comical love-hate relationship is well-known throughout the school. They act similarly and love the same music, and their friendship is full of laughing, shouting at each other, and of course, lots of jokes about one another’s height. But when Risa notices her feelings for Ootani growing, she’s worried. She doesn’t know if he can ever see her as more than a friend, and she’s afraid that if she tells him how she feels, she could ruin what they have. With her friends rooting for her, she struggles to make him see how she feels about him, and that a romantic relationship between them can work. Oblivious Ootani doesn’t make things easy for her, but she stubbornly perseveres in her own unconventional way, determined for her feelings to get through to him, and finally be returned. Hopefully she won’t drive herself and everyone else crazy in the process.

Lovedol is a six girl pop-idol group put together by Tomohiro Fujisawa, their manager. The first two Lovedol groups were so highly successful that Tomohiro’s boss wants him to make a third group. Trying something different he tries to make a four girl pop-idol group, but their debut gets postponed by the owner. They appear to missing something. That something is anyone guess.

Portrays the lives of several school girls attending a Japanese high school with a very loose humor tone. The main heroine is Konata Izumi, an athletic and intelligent girl who, despite these attributes, is not in a sports club, and her grades remain low. Her laziness at school is due to her love for anime and video games, and she is not interested in much else.
