Amawa Hibiki is a young man just out of college, with an education to be an athletics teacher. He's been having a hard time finding a job since he graduated, so all his money has gone towards living expenses. When his landlady demands his first payment to live in her living establishment upfront, he heads to the local middle school to get hired as a teacher. However, the principal refuses to hire him without hesitation. She will not hire men as teachers and makes it clear that she hates all men, saying they put no love into their passions and work. Amawa does not give up and with the help of his landlady, he crossdresses as a woman without a second thought, and gets hired, so he can earn money and also prove the principal wrong. Now, he has to keep his real gender a secret, and avoid strange situations, including the affections of his students (from both genders).

Seto Ichitaka has a crush on Yoshizuki Iori, a girl in his class who has become so popular she now has her own fan club at school. Inukami are demons with the apearence of a dog which protect the humans from other demons. However, Keita, a descendant of a historic Inukami-tamer family, lacked their gift, and so he was forsaken by the family. One day, an Inukami named Yoko came in to his life, and from then on, Keita's life would never be the same. Although Yoko was really beautiful, she was a problematic Inukami that no one had been able to control, and from that moment the endless train of Keita's embarrassments was without end.

Inuyasha was awoken when Kagome passed through time and returned to the feudal era through a magic well at her family shrine unlocked by a sacred jewel hidden in her body. She finds a half demon pinned to a tree by sacred arrows that she is somehow able to remove. Inuyasha is freed from his 50-year-sleep and he awakens to again search for the sacred jewel. He's not the only one though. In an early battle the jewel is accidentally shattered and scattered across the land by Kagome, and Inuyasha demands that she help him put it back together. This sets them down a long path where they will meet friends and terrible enemies as they quest to restore the sacred jewel from its many shards.

Justy Tylor has no training, no skill, no initiative, or leadership qualities; in fact, he has nothing going for him except one crucial thing: dumb luck. This is his only saving grace, and it saves him from impossible odds, time and again. By sheer accident, he rescues the General's beloved granddaughters; for which, the General is extremely grateful, and as such, makes this inept recruit a full Captain, but gives him command of the lowliest ship in the fleet, the Soyokaze. This ship has a crew of misfits and mutineers, so the General is not at all worried about Tylor making matters worse. He has killed two birds with one stone: he has given this inept freeloader a 'reward' for saving the granddaughters, and also put a captain in command of a ship and crew he would just as well see engulfed by a black hole. Thus, Tylor begins an adventure that takes him from the lowest and highest positions of authority, from which he somehow manages to make things turn out for the best.

In the romantic comedy story, a high school girl named Kotoko finally tells a fellow senior named Naoki that she has loved him from afar since she saw him on their first day of high school. However, Naoki, a haughty "super-ikemen" (handsome male) with smarts and sports talent, rejects her offhand. Fate intervenes when a mild earthquake ruins Kotoko's family house. While the house gets rebuilt, Kotoko and her dad stay at the home of her dad's childhood friend...whose son is Naoki.
