New sutff in the gamer world

so I am just bored taking a break from studying
anyways has anyone else tried the call of duty 5 beta? I have and i must admit that its def different than other cod games......large replacements for the kill streak specials and i am surprised that they got some big names to voice in it including gary oldman and the guy who plays jack bower in 24

away from the beta Fallout 3 just came out today and after playing a bit I have to say that it is very well designed and I actually enjoy the game. In fear of doing spoilers and i wont i will just that it is a developing game and has many aspects of oblivion. Obviously since fallout and oblivion are made from teh same company it is not a surprise.

Finally no beta but i might as well do a honorable mention....World of warcraft wrath of the lich king coming out november 13 a day after my birthday O:). I admit I play WOW on and off....but since the new patch new spells new professions its amusing. Also Blizz is trying to bring back argent dawn as well as scourge with this patch bringing them attacking the world...all in order to prepare for the new expansion.......I will most likely play it but might get frustrated, at the childish players complaining and spamming in chat. thankfully this is the last installation of the warcraft franchise.....though knowing blizzard they will think of a way to milk it more.......but i digress they might just milk diablo and starcraft since a new set is coming out soon enough...

I suppose the purpose of this thread is to ask ur thoughts about these 3 games...whether you are excited or don't really care...since people hyped these games to the point that it peaked my interest....and furthermore if there are any other games of interest or honorable mention that are coming out soon or recently please put it in......i am a gamer as well as a anime freak.....trying new games makes my melancholy college life that more interesting

I don't know where you're getting that LK will be the last expansion for WoW, because it won't be.

Perhaps but like i said it is only heard of.......besides i am under the assumption becasue they should stop before it becomes stale

From various things that have been said by Blizzard developers, there will be one more expansion for WoW after Wrath, after which they will be working on an MMO that is not warcraft related.

I heard that as well, Vid--but you can never be certain. If the player base keeps growing, there's no need to suspend it. To be honest, such a large base shouldn't even "be" expected to get wiped off the screen of focus like that. I mean, look at Everquest...that game never had nearly as many players as WoW, yet people still play it today. I can name at least three possible expansions for WoW (LK not included), so the story has a lot of flexibility to go by.

Personally, I'm hoping to be able to play it for many years to come.
