Welcome to the AnimeFuel Community Forums, I'm the owner of this website Demon fox and lucky for you I'm not here to use my ninja skills on yah, plenty of time for that later I assure you. Instead I'll be telling you a little about this place.

As you should be able to tell by now you are not registered with us as of yet and probably need a good reason to do so. Between you and I we both know you're a lazy bastard and so if you don't even want to listen to the rest of my introduction speech you may as well just go register.

Otherwise here's what you can do on our forums once you've registered. When you register you will be able to chit chat in our forums, entertain yourself with games and share videos with other members. The forums allows you to get access to free downloads shared by members, fast and direct support with video problems from members and staff and make anime requests which are priortized above anyone else's.

There are many more things you can do but our aim is to bring together a community of video fans where you can feel comfortable and make lots of friends around the world. God knows you need them.

So get your butt over to the registration page and join my I mean OUR community. Oh and one more thing watch out for a crazy guy with a gun he's wandering around somewhere in these pages and you'll probably see him if you become really slack with the forum.

This message will self destruct once registration is completed.

Default Would You Relinquish A Child Or A Partner?

(I was watching some "House" earlier, and I thought this would make an interesting debate topic.)

The situation was that a young athlete had several health problems, and needed a kidney transplant, or he would die in a matter of weeks. Upon testing, his wife proved to be a positive match; but she was also found to be pregnant, meaning she could not donate.
The wife wanted to have an abortion to be able to donate to her beloved, but her husband wanted his wife to keep the child, because they had experienced difficulties in getting pregnant. Plus, it would of course be considered a part of him & her, a legacy.
Dr. House's opinion was that yes; she should have the abortion because upon living the husband and wife could again try for another baby.
There would be no other donor for this man. Potential recipients have to have a 'clean slate' so to speak, they can't drink or use any sort of drugs/abuse prescriptives.
The athlete had abused his coach's Digitalis (a medicine for the heart) because he was under depression and attempted suicide.
Additionally, he and his wife used large amounts of marijuana in the past (she had quit, he continued). And the staff came to realize the soil in which this was grown was contaminated with Cadmium.

Please think hard, what are your opinions on this? Would you approve of relinquishing a child in order to save your spouse, or would you try, somehow; to find another donor?

This one, is pretty hard. Most people as the one dying would rather die than to force the death of their child. Most outsiders would argue that, the child isn't born. There's new ways to help with conception, and so long as the dying person is able to live, then he can start up a larger family to compensate.

This one is up in the air, but I would have to say yes, get the abortion, save your spouse.

I think the same way, save the spouse and try again. I couldn't let someone die while saving a baby who isn't already born, sounds harsh but in that case you only have two choices.

I personally say get the abortion. I mean think about it this way:
Yes, you are killing off the very life you spawned, even though it hasn't been born yet, but you can always have another child. Yes, I know, it wont be the same as the one that was already going to be born and that one child can never be replaced, but you can save a life, and then go create another.

Yeah, save the spouse and have another baby.

Though, it would be funny [to me] if she chose the baby over her husband and then months later she'd have some problem with the pregnancy and the baby died too.

First off, house episodes seem rather ridiculous when condensed like that. anyhow...

the good ol' abortion topic. um, first off, I'd wait it out. See if a donor comes, there's always the chance it will and there's not need to jump to the conclusion one won't. second phase, a donor doesn't come. options: die, kill unborn child, kill everyone in a blaze of glory and eat their kidneys........................................... how far along is she pregnant wise? just peed on a stick, or big as a whale? if she just pissed on the stick the other day, then nuts to that kid, there's plenty more sperm where that came from. But in all honesty, If unless I could guarantee the kid will be healthy, and that my wife won't be affected/hurt/potentially die under the knife by having surgery to remove a kidney (leaving her with one to live by, so she can't f*ck it up after) then I'd throw in the towel. It's a little selfish to kill off one, and endanger another so that I can go smoke more cadmium pot...really? cadmium contaminated pot?

Hmmm lets see...he was addicted to drugs and tried to kill himself soooo who can say he won't continue trying to end his own life. I don't mean to go into the whole "give the baby a chance at life" drama, but cmon the "DaDa" fucked up his life already. I'm pretty sure he realized that when he told his wife to keep the baby seeing as how its his better half. Yes, many people would think Dr.Houses' choice is the most logical one but it's similar to a double edge blade.

Seriously though, "...they had experienced difficulties in getting pregnant." so when the miracle finally arrives "DaDa" gets depressed and tries to commit suicide? O.o I may not know exactly what he went through to reach such a decision, but he chose it. Now he's in the hospital letting others make a choice for him. Which is pretty much a no brainer...what can I say? "DaDa" chose the wrong time in his life to end it.
