Sanctuary of The Clans vampire rules and regualtions.

Ok peoples these are what I deem vampyre worthy... you can debate on them and some of the rules and regulations may change depending on what we all choose. Also if you think up a good rule that everyone or the majority agrees on we may use it as well... .so feel free in helping me update our list!

The Vampyre Capias:

1) A vampyre may have more then one blood pet/familiar which they can either choose to share with others or hold solely to themselves.

2) Other vampyres must ask permission before using anothers blood pet/familiar.

3) The sun does not hurt vampyres in anyway but it does weaken them. Also vampyres can't tan... unless there skin is naturally darker they will forever remain the same in skin coloration.

4) Normal water does not hurt the vampyre but holy water does. Seeing as vampyres are unholy beasts of the damned.

5) Garlic doesn't harm the vampyre but it's over powering scent does tend to bother them greatly.

6) Silver is of no use in killing a vampyre thats for werewolves.

7) Staking a vampyre only kills them if you leave it in them... you take it out vampyre is quickly back to life and probably going to kill you. Chances are you need to decapitate them and then burn the whole body... then bury the ashes and pore holy water on the grave. Put a cross as the headstone for good measure.

8) A vampyre has many supernatural and unknown powers... so don't be surprised if they seem to go through a super saiya-jin transformation.... lol... some of you will understand this joke while others will probably be asking about it....

9) Vampyres can give birth despite there death like appearances. The womb still lives.

10) There are two types of vampyres Full Blood and Half Blood. Full Bloods are created by many years of pure vampyre breeding. While Half Bloods are created by either turning a human into a vampyre or a vampyre has a child with a human.

11) Vampyres are not capable of becoming ill. No sickness can touch a vampyre. The only thing close to an illness is a vampyre who loves to play with there food and waste it.... which is blood lust my peoples.

12) Blood pets/familiars are not slaves. They are people who have offered you and you alone there lifes blood.

13) Blood pets/familiars are to be treated almost equally to there master by other vampyres.

14) Violence is not allowed within the Sanctuary but you may do as you please in the grounds that surround it.

15) The vampyre Ruler is picked by majority vote. Which means everyone has a chance. First we pick 3 capable leaders and then vote amongst ourselves. You may not vote for yourself. You also do not have to vote for another if it displeases you.

16) My word is law despite who the vampyre leader is. I am capable of kicking you out of the Sanctuary at any time.(This rule is nondisputable)

17) A new vampyre leader can be picked any time all the vampyres or the majority vote deems it necessary. There are no time oriented elections.

18) The vampyre Apotheosis(Leader) gets to pick his/her political entourage as well as the standard army militia.

19) The only fighting that may take place inside the Sanctuary is in either the training grounds where you may fight but not kill or on the exicution grounds where a fight takes place and one must die. (Don't worry if you die you can always come back as another vampyre or blood pet/familiar)

20) When a vampyre is turning a human they must follow the ceremony. (which will be described later I haven't quiet figured out how it should go just yet)

21) Vampyres may take human lovers so long as the human is willing.

22) Vampyres may drink the blood of unwilling humans.

23) Vampyres do not need to kill to feed.

24) A Blood Pet/familiar can not be forced to become bonded to a vampyre.

25) A vampyre can not force a human to become a vampyre they must first have the humans consent as well as the Prophets(Council) consent. Though what becomes of the vampyre after rebirth is left to the master. They may make the vampyre a ghoul by starving it or the master vampyre can feed the new fledgling and allow it to flourish as a newly anointed vampyre.

26) Blood pets/familiars are not of any monetary value and can not be sold or used by others for money.

27) Blood pets/familiars can be any type of humanoid figure. Which means demons, weres, and anything else that has a slightly human figure.

28) Blood pets/familiars can be in the militia and be high ranked in the militia but they can not take Prophet (council) or leadership roles.

29) Blood pets/familiars may have relations outside of their vampyre so long as it is alright with the vampyre. They can have friends without permission but if they wish to take on a lover they must first address their vampyre.

30) Vampyres need not protect the humans/weres/demons that do not belong to them in other words free humans/weres/demons but they must remember that they are our food source so when another beastie encroches onto our territory to far they must be delt with.

31) A Blood Ritual (Marriage) can be performed between two vampyres. Either of the same clan or differing clans (most from differing clans are between the leaders children making it a marriage of convenience... rituals between normal vampyres from differing clans below these ranks are unheard of) .If the ritual is performed between two of the same only one elder from that clan is needed if the ritual is between two vampyres of differing clans an elder from each clan is needed. The Blood Ritual can not be performed between a vampyre and any other creature. Not saying you can't marry any other creatures you just can't perform a Blood Ritual.

Also We need to think up some cultural things that vampyres can do like ceremonies and traditions... no need for a religion though I guess... but we need to think up what positions of government/prophets/council and political society we are going to use as well as which military names we are going to use and what not... I'm actually making a tree chain of command... which I will post soon.

He has yet to appoint anyone into any official positions. I'm sure he will eventually get around to it though.

I have a question...

If a vampire is caught within the vicinity of a thermonuclear explosion, will it survive? Sure, its not being stabbed in the heart with a pointy stick, but the body is being destroyed at the molecular level.

Comment:

I read somewhere that most bitten people turn into ghouls ( creatures with the prime vampire need: killing). When exactly does a human turn into a vampire? Is there a special ceremony for that?

So humans are, what you would call that, their wards or 'protégés'. (what a fancy word...) Cool. Now humans aren't seen as "fast food".

people who are bitten(yes there is a ceremony no matter what) only turn into ghouls if they are starved of blood for the first few weeks or so of there creation. The human becomes a normal vampire if they are fed from... rebirth....

The human(Blood pet) is a willing subject or servant... possibly a lover and friend to the vampire. They are never a slave and though they are the food source there is no fast food so long as the vampire has a blood pet because the vampire does not need to kill to feed.

Breaking several of the pre agreed upon rules... thats pretty much it... and god moding... thats rediculous. These would get you kicked out.... acting as a feral vamp is ok being a murderous human is ok....


my thought here is... since you aren't in sanctuary or are you interested in joining our social group? Why the questions?

Some of you may reconize this, but I'm used to them being called "Familiars". Does this name still apply? And can they not be forced to become familiars/blood pets?

Familiar still applies but no a blood pet/familiar can not be forced to become a blood pet/familiar which leads me to adding rule # 24... i think... yeah 24...
