Now, just take a moment and look at this picture. Think for a second on who it is. Keep thinking... Okay, who is it?

For those of you too lazy to click, the person showed is Crono, the main character of Chrono Trigger. He looks pretty different, right? That's because an announcment has been confirmed, Chrono Trigger is coming to the DS.

Though it's not a sequel (As I've said the game needs one in several other threads) it is getting an update. http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3168511 Better graphics, Stylus control, online play, and a new dungeon, it could show people today how the SNES gamers did RPG's, and for their own good.

So, is this a sign that a sequel could come in the future? Are you glad that an update is coming for the game? Or do you prefer the purist route and say the game should have stayed untouched?

Well. since I have never played Chrono Trigger I have no idea who your talking about or what he used to look like. But, it's a new game and I'm willing to try it out.

It's not a new game actually. Chrono Trigger was previously released on the SNES, and is known as one of the best RPG titles of all time, especially considering it's competition, the exceeding popular Final Fantasy. Ironically enough, Chrono Trigger is made by the same company.

Besides that, I said that it was ONE of the greatest RPG's of all time. Besides that, diablo is a hard game, one that has little chance of victory unless you absolutly know what you are doing.

It was released 3 year's before diablo indeed,but that proves nothing..i haven't played CT so i can't tell if it's good or not,but one game remained as the king of RPG's



Anyhow i would have to disagree on diablo being hard..Indeed it had different difficulties like Hell ..which was rather hard,but playing the game on normal was rather easy.. i remember reaching the end when i was 6 and by that time i didn't even know english.Yeah took me couple of months to complete..and yeah i died a sh*t load of times but i managed to complete it.

First off, unless you can read a book a week, you'll always have more New York Times best selling books.

Second, it's hard. It also scared me as a kid since I only put it in once and it was really late night. I didn't touch it again until I was maybe 14.

Third, Diablo is a good game. But, test of time or not, Chrono Trigger has a very devote following. Blizzard has made an expansion to the first, plus a sequal and expansion to that game, and now even a third game for Diablo. Chrono Trigger has just one game in its story, Chrono Cross, which most people rejected as the true sequel. So, many, many more gamers who played this have hungered for a new game since.

Chrono Trigger has had a pseudo-sequel for years, Chrono Cross, But a true sequel to it would be nice. Also, Chrono Trigger beats Diablo.

Seriously, Chrono Trigger wins hands down, no contest, besides is Diablo really something you could call an RPG? It seems more action/adventure to me even though they tried to format it like an RPG.

First Diablo didn't have an expansion,only second diablo did.And yes now their's an diablo iii announced which is gonna be awesome
And i'm not judging diablo by my personal experience with it,i'm judging it by the rewards it has taken.
