I'm sure that you've thought about it once, thought to yourself "Man this game blows! I could come up with somthing waaaay better than this!" And that's what this thread is for. Think of the games that you've played that are utter suck, and explain what you would do to make it better.

If making a bad game isn't your fancy, then come up with something original! Explain a game that you wish you could make. Don't just stop with a brief talk about it, I want a theme, a character, a setting, a plot, and just what would be setting your game apart!

LOL, anyway a game named TRAPT its about running and doing the same things in the same place for many hours argh , take a look at the review on any gaming forums , but i did finish it lol

Well after playing games like Dead Rising and violent games, I thought up a game that sort of merged the over the top violence with the "anything's a weapon system" of Dead Rising. What I thought up I wanted to become the most controversial game ever. I haven't come up with a name for it but here's what I thought up. (I swear nobody better copy this idea)

You play as this man, he has no name, no history, or character. He wishes only to kill. But he can't kill just anyone, oh no. The game opens with him coming upon the grounds of an elementary school. He walks in the front door, and the madness begins. Your objective is to brutally slaughter the faculty and students of the school in any way possible. You have no weapons on hand, all weapons are picked up around the school. You can stab out children's eyes with pencils, pick them up and break their bones by snapping them in between desks, dragging them to the lunchroom to stuff them in the oven or press their faces onto the grill, the possibilities are nearly limitless. There are no rules, no missions, just carnage. After you manage to kill most of the children and faculty, the police bust in, and you have to avoid them and escape from the school. After that you lay low and find your way to a middle school, where the brutality once again occurs. You subsequently will advance to high schools, preparatory schools, universities, and the like. There are many secret weapons to be found in the schools that can help you out, like janitors who are packing bombs in the cleaning closets, or fanatical principals that keep loaded guns in their offices. An added bonus is that you can use the "Beg for mercy" techniques, which will slowly torture your underage victims into begging for dear life. You will have the option to re-enact famous school shootings, should you find the guns that are hidden throughout the levels. And for added controversy, why not add the option to rape the children as well?

I think I have come up with one of the most brilliant concepts for a video game ever created.

The thing that bothers me most about Koopa's game is that it's probably going to have the most blandest, and poorly written characters in videogame history.

The main character will be bland and faceless for a reason, so the player can become the character themselves and it's actually like they are doing the things themselves. The other characters may have some writing to them, but they are all objects to be killed off. There can be more prominent characters like principals or deans that can will have deeper character.

It's sad when a game suffers from FFXII syndrome in which the characters you fight are more interesting than the character you play as.

Oh you don't fight them. There is no fight. They all will die. And the person is you. You really must have some sort of inferiority complex if you think that fictional game characters are better than yourself.
