Thinking back i loved all of the dot hack games and their story line was kindive like the anime but i still loved all 7 of them.

To the person that said GTA had a good storyline: GTA has good writing and voice acting, but unless you double checked it you probably couldn't figure out what the plot is supposed to be about.

I would have to say Kingdom Hearts I and II and also Rygar. I also thought that Shadow Hearts I and II had good storylines as well.

I agree with the people that said gta has no storyline worth bring forth in here. Half the time people dont do it because they dont care that dosent sound like a great storyline game to me. Would you start that game all over just for the story no you wouldnt.

Many reviewers have said that GTA: IV has award winning dialogue.

The dialouge yes but the story is still pointless every one does it to get to all the places on the map.

Lost oddyssey has a great story and so does many of the games mentioned by you guys :D

Let's put it this way; All of Shakesphear's works are considered masterpieces, but if your actor blows then it's underappreciated as a play. If you have a play with a confusing plot, and you don't understand it by the end, but your actors have the greatest emotion and range, you have people that will go on to do great things, but a writer who's gonna live on the street. The performers are the only ones remembered.


Now, the most I've been able to figure out with GTA 4 involves someone immigrating to New York. That's pretty much it. However, everyone loves the writing for the dialogue, and the voice actors go very well to their intended parts, but the plot, the story, I have no idea if there even is one past the immigration part.
