Hey guys a new MMORPG just came out for sale yesterday. Unless you had gotten the presale game for 15 dollars more. By which , those of you who did, ended up getting stuck after playing 8-10hrs. eh i feel bad for you -_-.

Ok so guys realistically Age of Conan-Hyborian Adventures Still has a few problems, problems that should have been worked out as it was beta tested. there is a few incomplete graphics rendering and unfinished "realms"( zones or areas you go to). i am hoping that it all gets fixed.

Another thing to look out for is the Minimum requirements for this game , it has one high standard for an MMORPG.

OS : Windows XP Service pack 2 or Windows Vista.

RAM: 1 GB

Video Card : Nvidia Geforce 6600 or better.

Video Memory: 128MB

Processor: Intel Pentium 4 3Ghz or equivalent

DVD-ROM: Quad Speed(4x) DVD ROM drive

Hard Drive: 32 GB Free space

All of the above are to play on the bare minimum with the lowest quality graphics, your going to need better things to have a better time experiencing the game. Let alone you need to make sure that your Video card is up to date. and make sure your video card supports SLI graphics and TNL shading.

Some facts about the game. . .

There are 3 Races to choose from.

-The Aquilonians
they're kind of like the Kingdom people choosing this race will most likely to have the option for classes such as Soldiers and priests.

-The Cimmerians
Cimmerians are more like the barbarians becoming somewhat warrior like and being shaman, they are more in tune with the world.

-The Stygians
Stygians are more into their own acient culture , they are very much like egyptians in a way, they favor cunning intelligence and agaility over brute strength, they use a lot of mage class and even assasin.

Ok so so far in the game it starts out with 12 Different classes to be , and you can be them depending on the type of race you are.

Guardian
Archetype: Soldier
Weapons: One-Handed Edged Swords, One Handed Blunts, Polearms, Crossbows, and thrown weapons.
Armor: Full Plate, Heavy Armor, Medium Armor, Light Armor, Sheild
Description: Think of these like Spartans, These guys cans Do damage while lasting a long time against enemies. they are usually main tanks.

Conqueror
Archetype: Soldier
Weapons: One-Handed Blunts, Two-handed Blunts, One-handed edge sword, two-handed edge sword, crossbows, thrown weapons, Dual weilding.
Armor:Heavy Armor, Medium Armor, Light Armor
Descrpition: These guys act like strong captain/ War leaders, Moralizing a group or party , giving buffs , and still standing strong.

Dark Templar
Archetype: soldier
Weapons: One handed edge sword, one handed blunt, crossbows,thrown weapons
Armor:Heavy armor, Medium Armor, light Armor, Sheilds
Description: These guys are like dark knights , they deal massive damage while still being able to cast spells such as leech life at an enemy using unholy might.

Demonologist
Archetype: Mage
Weapons: Daggers, Crossbows, Thrown weapons
Armor: Cloth Armor, Silk Armor
Description: These guys are power houses for magic, concentrating on sorcery, dealing the most Black magic, using spells such as inferno and fork lightning. and can even summon servants from hell.

Necromancer
Archetype: Mage
Weapons:daggers, crossbows,thrown weapons.
Armor: Cloth Armor ,Silk Armor
Description: necromancers summon and command legions of undead, using magics suchsuch as pestilent corruption to even the chilling touch of death, it is said that they can even turn themselves into the terrifying undead.

Herald Of Xotli
Archetype: Mage
Weapons:Two-handed Edge Sword, daggers, crossbows, thrown weapons
Armor: Cloth Armor, Silk Armor
Description: these mage hybrids are for people who want to master both swordplay and sorcery, these servants of the demon god Xotli can produce formitable enemies if used right.

Bear Shaman
Archetype: Preist
Weapons:Two-handed Blunts, Bows, Crossbows, Thrown weapons
Armor:Cloth armor, Medium Armor, Light armor
Description: Bear shamans are intune with nature and undertake the spirit of the bear to increase strength and wear the heaviest of priest armor. and deal a good ammount of damage with 2-handed weapon, for WoW players , just immagine a Druid+Paladin.

Preist of Mitra
Archetype: Preist
Weapons: one handed edge sword, one handed blunts, daggers, crossbows, thrown weapons
Armor:Cloth Armor, Light armor, Sheilds
Description: these guys are the main healers of any party, they also can cast deadly divine spells, the very definition of light is these guys. the mitra god is one of justice and liberty.

Tempest of Set
Archetype: Preist
Weapons: One handed edged swords, one handed daggers, crossbows, thrown weapons
Armor: cloth armor, light armor, sheilds.
Description: these guys are renown for destruction, yest still have the abilities of healing such as a preist.

Barbarian
Archetype: Rogue
Weapons:One-handed edge sword, One-handed Blunts, two- handed edge swords, two-handed blunts, bows, thrown weapons, dual weilding
Armor: Cloth armor, Light Armor,
Description: Strength powerhouses!, one of the most dangerous fear seights on a battlefeild wounding barbarians will even enrage them making them even more strong.

Assassin
Archetype: Rogue
Weapons:Daggers, Crossbows, dual Weilding
Armor: Cloth Armor, Silk Armor
Description: These agility based characters excel in the art of sneaking and surprising their enemies their combo blows are the deadliest in the game.

Ranger
Archetype: Rogue
Weapons: one-handed edge sword, one handed blunts, daggers, bows, crossbows, dual weilding
Armor: Cloth armor, Medium Armor, light armor, sheilds
Description: with special shots that can pin an enemy down or start a bleeding wound , making knights fall to the ground, and making it impossible for magic users to cast spellswith an arrow to the throat.

This game as you may have noticed takes features from many different MMORPG's , even the free ones, the fighting style is very much like Cabal online, except with every strike its directional for melee, meaning, i can choose to thrust forward, do a strike on the left, or a strike on the right, and possibly cleaving nearby enemies.

there is an intense blood factor in this game, adds a cool effect , but those of you who do not wish to have it there are parental controls to turn it off.

it keeps an overall general MMO Interface.
as for mounts there are Horses, Mamoths, and Rhino, you can ride any of them depending on where you train for it.you are also able to fight while upon your mount. another cool feature, Guilds can create cities, and decide to destroy other guild cities.

there is so much more, and a lot of WoW, FFXI, and LOTRO players are moving to this game.

I did have the beta,but it was too laggy to play so..

I do know that it was laggy because it was the beta but i'm afraid it'll lag on the normal game as well :(

I just lost two accounts from WoW in the big May 20th ban wave on mmoglider users and I don't plan to go back to the game so I will be playing AOC to try it out and several guild members who also lost accounts will also be going over to AOC. Our guild has been around long enough to have old members in several different MMOs and several of them are going to come together to try out AOC as well. I hope it turns out to be a good game.

There is open PvP, which I am addicted to.
There are player cities, etc.... and that is just awesome. One of my favorite things from SWG that I miss in MMOs.
It is an adult themed game.... you are supposed to be over 18 even to view the website.
The graphics and game size will hinder a lot of people from even being able to play the game, but I have a new core2 quad core so I should be fine.

Who knows, it may suck, but I am thinking a game build as an adult game with high-end gaming in mind can't be all bad.

as with most games it seems to be having problems right now , it had some good hype but there still some things they really need to fix , such as crowd control. and a few bugs have been popping up , hopeing that new updates can fix these ^^

It might just be me but i think the gameplay is a bit sloppy(if you know what i'm talking about then great..if not then your blind *jk*) so I might consider playing it just to see if my first impression was biased or not.
