Welcome to the AnimeFuel Community Forums, I'm the owner of this website Demon fox and lucky for you I'm not here to use my ninja skills on yah, plenty of time for that later I assure you. Instead I'll be telling you a little about this place.
As you should be able to tell by now you are not registered with us as of yet and probably need a good reason to do so. Between you and I we both know you're a lazy bastard and so if you don't even want to listen to the rest of my introduction speech you may as well just go register.
Otherwise here's what you can do on our forums once you've registered. When you register you will be able to chit chat in our forums, entertain yourself with games and share videos with other members. The forums allows you to get access to free downloads shared by members, fast and direct support with video problems from members and staff and make anime requests which are priortized above anyone else's.
There are many more things you can do but our aim is to bring together a community of video fans where you can feel comfortable and make lots of friends around the world. God knows you need them.
So get your butt over to the registration page and join my I mean OUR community. Oh and one more thing watch out for a crazy guy with a gun he's wandering around somewhere in these pages and you'll probably see him if you become really slack with the forum.
This message will self destruct once registration is completed.

Hi everyone, I return after finding that the forums sadly haven't moved.
![]() (For those that know me I left in Feb. so that I could wait for the new forum webpage) Here is today's popular unsung debate, for today's economy: 1.So can you tell me why you think Education is important enough to potentially risk throwing your life away financially? (after all education is everywhere but support for it isn't easy) 2. What is better education or pure awesome talent and skill? a.(at some point you need both, but what if you have one but can't get the other yet? money, ect.) I think everyone I meet when I apply for a job has the same old mind-set: "You got to have a College Degree! or I'll ignore you!" (it sucks and is discriminating for HS grads that are going to get collage eventually and others who cant.) That happened due to parents forcing kids to go whether they want to or not and colleges advertising the thought to parents 24/7 that collage is essential when it wasn't. HS was more important, heck kids barely get passed that nowadays. Thanks Everyone, Contrast Note: Corwin if your still hanging around I know you're going to get both sides, maybe more.^^

1.You have it backwards, education is the one thing that helps you gain more financially. Talent and skill depend on how much educational knowledge you possess. Even if you leave your details for someone else to take care of (i.e.-manager or agent) if you don't know how to read, write and do basic elementary math, you don't know how much you are being screwed out of money-wise or how much more you could have made.
2. Education is better. Matter-of-Fact, you have to have to have some type of education on even what your talent is. Examples:An athlete must have someone introduce them to the game and tell them the rules of the game. Playing it bring out what athletic talent or skill they possess, but to further their game, strategy is a must. Strategy is education's trial and error in real time. A musician must be taught how to read music scores and notation if they want to further in their music knowledge. Some lawyers make a killing in their business, not because they're talented and/or skilled in manipulating the truth, though that can take them far, but for having reading and writing skills in contracting loop-holed agreements for their clients benefit with a nice profit for themselves, when not pro bono. I get that you feel limited in what you can do. But the thing is when our grandparents were growing up, college was something not really obtainable to them. They had to work even in order than what is required for us today. And since our country was more industrial back then than it is now, a high school degree was all that was needed to make it in most jobs. Now that we are more complex, we need higher education to deal with the complexity of our lives. The talent and skill in doing something like computer hacking only emerges because someone had educated in creating a computer and knowing what the components do. Mathematics become the talent and typing the skill in executing. Neither which would not be possible without education. In the end, you can't escape education and you won't be able to know your talent and skills limitations without it.

1. Education is really important no matter what you want to do or where you go, but you're right that it can become really pricey. It all depends on what your situation is and where you are. There is a kind of an uneasy balance really because more expensive degrees => more exclusive chances => higher demand => higher prices and vice-versa... Kind of a mean cycle, you need money to get an education but you need an education to make money.
2. Education and talents go hand in hand I think because even if you do have natural talents, you won't get far with them unless you can expand them with education. When you teach someone something, they gain knowledge, and often knowledge is most valuable skill/talent of them all. And this is all too relevant for me now because I'm trying to get into college soon...

I'm not gonna get myself too immersed in this topic, but let me just say this from experience: education and talent/skill are not exclusive of one another. Talent/skill may exist in a raw material, but it is tempered (woohoo, blacksmith wordplay!) with education. I may have always had a knack for creative writing, but I had to be taught to use it effectively. Orlando, in Shakespeare's As You Like It, had to be taught to be a lover and a poet by Rosalind because he was uneducated, even though some raw form of a poet and a lover was in him already. And so on and so forth.
Education, thusly, is more valuable to everyone, but not in the same way. For the average person, it will enable them to have a stable future and not be as stupid as they might have been otherwise. For the artistic, the mathematical, the whatever it may be, whom so wishes to be a professional, they cannot get by on talent alone. We are not gods - perfection comes through learnedness. Of course, both talent and education only go so far. They work best together, not apart, but if one would have to choose one or the other, it would be education. Basically, I just repeated what is already being said in this thread. Go me. But I used wordplay and mentioned Shakespeare, so I'm cooler.

this thread made me feel bad for sure, i have raw talent, io have ideas out the ass and other useful skills needed for what i was going to go for!
but now my parents in straights and splitting up there isnt enough money to fund my education, and i dont have much money myself either....so right now, to me, talent and skill is the best i got and the most important, just gotta get a break now! ![]()

Wow so far we have talented answers, education provides some skill that you already have you just learn how to refine it, Talents are natural as well but sometimes are more easy going for an individual. Its Like Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with milk they at some point go together. Remember the debate is about your opinion on the matter as well.
@Zero Ichi: I can relate there are many people in Michigan with similar problems like yours. For example: my brother went to Kettering University in flint He has loans out the wazoo for just "education" means alone, he has barely any cash to live on and cause of that got a girlfriend and moved to an apartment with her, they now are engaged happily. He's fortunate to even have a job which is a third party brake company from japan (aki-bono) for GM. They have alot of trouble financially and barely afford new staff so there making cuts and if that happens bye bye job that pays my bro's loans. My bother is luckier than the majority of graduates from all over Michigan whom still are job seeking today.

Here in the goddamn meddle east niether in important. You need a job, but to get a job you'll need a proper certificate (education in other words), So no matter how skilled or talented you are, you'll still be a FUCKIN AVERAGE NORM PERSON.
