Welcome to the AnimeFuel Community Forums, I'm the owner of this website Demon fox and lucky for you I'm not here to use my ninja skills on yah, plenty of time for that later I assure you. Instead I'll be telling you a little about this place.

As you should be able to tell by now you are not registered with us as of yet and probably need a good reason to do so. Between you and I we both know you're a lazy bastard and so if you don't even want to listen to the rest of my introduction speech you may as well just go register.

Otherwise here's what you can do on our forums once you've registered. When you register you will be able to chit chat in our forums, entertain yourself with games and share videos with other members. The forums allows you to get access to free downloads shared by members, fast and direct support with video problems from members and staff and make anime requests which are priortized above anyone else's.

There are many more things you can do but our aim is to bring together a community of video fans where you can feel comfortable and make lots of friends around the world. God knows you need them.

So get your butt over to the registration page and join my I mean OUR community. Oh and one more thing watch out for a crazy guy with a gun he's wandering around somewhere in these pages and you'll probably see him if you become really slack with the forum.

This message will self destruct once registration is completed.

Default Two poems, because it's been too long.

Really, how long has it been since I posted here? I mean in a way I don't have a reason to post any writing here anyway because it's not like I'll get much constructive feedback, but still, sometimes it's nice to just...get stuff out there.

American Greek

I saw a city, breathing,
a hallmark house upon a hill,
with neon lights and poetry.

I saw a preacher, preaching,
an upside-down Bible in his hand.
And the ladies nodded.

I saw an otter, stone dead,
stiff with a rocky spine.
The flies hovered around
his crooked teeth.

Urban

The squirrels scamper up streetlights,
their tails a neon glow.
Turtles rest in the gutter,
smoking a pack a day.

I'm glad you've finally decided to share some of your notorious writings with us Suig. I like your style - nice, short, and simple poems are often some of the best.

Zero, don't assume poems to only have one meaning, ever. If you can come up with your own meaning in a poem, then great! Stick to it. The author's intentions don't always have to dominate. :3 Thank you though.

When I had written these, it wasn't really so much a "decay of modern society" thing...the first is just a series of barely connected images of modern day, not so much pessimistic as realistic...and the second poem, I dunno, I just threw some animals into New York City and let them run around. :3 There were no real "deep" intentions in either poems. But I'm glad people can find depth in poems regardless.

Koopa, thank you, I didn't expect a response from you. And yes, I'm a huuuuuge fan of chopping things down to bare minimums. Bring out the poem, the message, the feeling, and shake all the extra stuff off that isn't needed. Oh, and actually this isn't the first time I've posted writing here, Koopa, you can always check my history of posting threads to find my other ones.

Ah yeah...there are lots of people like that who try to limit art's capabilities and try to make everyone see the supposed "right way" instead of letting art be what it really is...flexible. It's very sad.
