Ventrilo server up!

Ventrilo is a voice chat thing for gaming, but it could also be for fun...
I have written instructions on how to join, some of my friends will be there.

If anyone needs help setting up their Ventrilo, these are the basics:

1.Download Ventrilo

Windows 32bit (XP,Vista,Win2K) : Here
Windows 64bit : Here
Mac OSX (10.4 and higher) : Here

2.Once installed, set your username by clicking the little arrow on the right side of username.
Click new and just set up a name, and click OK then OK again, don't worry about the extra blanks.

3. On server do the same thing, click new then fill in this info:

Hostname or IP: 64.237.62.226
port number - 4821
password - modhalo

4. Click connect

Setting up Mic
-----------------------------------------------------------

1. Click Setup once connected
2. Under output device select your speakers (it should say speakers)
3. Under input, if you have a mic that just plugs in the socket then click line in. If you have a USB mic, select it.
4. Hardware input mixer is optional as it says.

On the left side select push to talk if not already selected, UNSELECT play key clicks. Click OK to finalize these settings. You are now ready to talk, hold Ctrl to talk, let go to stop talking.

Extras

Changing your Push to Talk key, under Setup, Click inside the hotkey box and click your wanted keyboard button. That is all.
