Pokemon: Stupid or not?

The show's okay for kids, but more mature people are going to find it stupid. The manga was pretty good, and the games were excellent until they started making stupid.

How about this: They make one more RPG. Totally three-dimensional next gen graphics. Make all the "regions" available to us. Make the pokemon be able to fatally wound and be fatally wounded. The first scene shows a pikachu shocking a child into spasms and killing him. I would buy it.

I guess we need to have variations in anime. anime for kids. anime for teens. anime for adults. and of course......anime for perverts.

so my view is:

I did like pokemon. I lost interest when the graphics started to look idiotic compared to Gundam SEED or something. There poped-up new versions of games. and I got pissed with the difference games where-in you need to trade. I was kidna like a purist wanting all my pokemon caught on pokeballs(yes I did that to the legendary birds) and the owner flashing my name. I tried it on lugia and mewtwo. lastly I think my gameboy broke down so I stopped playing and didn't care.

The manga sucks though. I find their lack of naming disturbing. what the hell is wrong with them? names like Red, Blue, Green, Silver, Gold, Crystal, etc. etc. I hated that part.

It is kinda stupid to get it going to what like 11 I suppose it is now. I'm not turning to a poketurd. I suggest pokeporn maggots. get used to it.

oh and to add. You wouldn't want kids to do this do you?

Pokemon is great. I always enjoy playing it, the game does get dull at some point, but at least the pokemons are improving.

So I think it's a little bit stupid, but I love it anyway.

I wouldn't say stupid, but it should end. After having the same plot line for a bunch of different trainers it needs to stop. But then again little kids love it, and some people still enjoy it so I guess there are a lot of people who don't think it's stupid. Do I? Yeah pretty much, I still enjoy the first few games though.

well it all has to do with age, its not stupid for kids, and that is what the show targets, kids. so to us of course its stupid, but its only because were older. remember whwn your a kid graphics dont matter in a game.

I still love Pokemon. Ever since it came out in '96. And the games are awesome. Pokemon lead the way for games that allows you to capture and breed monsters. (Dragon Warrior Monsters series)
And the anime, yes it has gotten stale, but so what? I dont care. *mmm, Dawn ;D* But, the first season was by far THE BEST.

ever since they changed their voices it went downhill.....im ADDICTED to the pokemon games even if its over and over and over again i don't care my friend likes it my cousins like it..i even gave my cousin a pokemon game (by the way she was not interested in pokemon at all until she first played!!!) it she got ADDICTED to it....now we are having a competiton to see who finishes the game first!!! XD

Pokemon was good at first but I think they went overboard when they brought in the 4th generation. Many of the fourth generation pokemon are rather similar to the other pokemon. There are very few ideas left for original pokemon. They should have just stopped with the 3rd generation and make spin-offs.

I LOVE the Pokemon games!i have almost every game that is out there!I'll never stop playing Pokemon!

But, the series is a different thing..it is pissing me off!the first 2-3 series was ok..i even it on tape..but it should have stopped there!Why the fuck isn't Ash aging?he is like 19 years old and still 4' 11" :S

I hope the producers realize that it should stop!
