apple vs windows vs linux

which do you like and why.

for me, i use windows for games, using windows only software, and programming programs for windows, because i have to use windows for thouse.

the rest of the time linux, its small, fast, free, stable, can do things that windows can only do after they take it from linux, and treats you like an intelligent human being.

mac i find it more easier to use. it makes a computer feeling like what it's supposed to be with you in control. not it bossing you around.

So... you mean a dumbed down version of a computer for those who aren't sure how a computer actually works?

And linux still exists? I thought that fad went out years ago ;)

(As a note, I'm not a fan of Windows, but I'd still rather use it than linux or mac)

nope for those who are tired of "Are you sure" and all that makes Windows a p.o.s. os.

like i said in the other thread i grew up using both but i prefer mac over windows. trust me all those people who say that eventually try a mac and agrees it's more user friendly. then eventually buys a Apple computer.

resale for a Apple computer is extremely good. someone bought the Apple computer with the necks, and a year ago sold it on craigslist for the same price he bought it for which i think was $1,200.

btw why in the world is there another thread like this?

Windows sucks, no doubt, but it allows for significantly more control over your computer if you know what you're doing. However, most people don't know what they're doing which is why Macs are so popular. I will admit that if you want to do anything with graphics or video (editing and such) Macs are far superior.

That would be incorrect, I've tried macs and haven't found them to my liking and thus have not bought one :P

Well windows is more for programming in C++, VB, C etc ... Mac OSX is more for graphic design and designers... Linux uses the unix system (same as apple) so really you can port stuff between linux and mac osx seemingly easily.
