I too think that something will happen. Although, it may not be exactly what we think. My theory is that there is no special significance of 2012, and nothing would happen if left alone BUT humanity has been clamoring at the thought of this date so long and making conjectures and preparing so much that their commotion will cause something to happen. Whatever happens, I believe humans will be the cause - something like a turnover of world power, or a nuclear war, rather than a cataclysmic natural or cosmic disaster.

I totally Agree with you there. It is totally up to us what happens and we will in the end make that finale decision. Most likely, if the world does destrpy itself, it will be a nuclear war most likely. I have no doubt in my mind. Though in the book of revelations "GOD" said that he would never flood the earth again however he will burn it! If that happens I hope its quick and painless and Ill be taking all of my dreams and anime with me

anyways no one can predict when the world will end. i personally believe it might happen before then, but it'll be like Y2K scare. even in the bible it doesn't give out a date for the end, just says all eyes will be looking at the east. which means it could possibly be in our generation, and will be on tv.

I've read about this subject quite a bit and many cultures, ancient and modern, point to about that day and year. They also describe it as a time of change. NOT doomsday. That is the same media and end time nut jobs that have been saying 'This is the end of the world' or 'The end is near' for thousands of years.

So I don't fear Dec 21, 2012. I want to see what changes, if any, happen between now and then.

well ....i won't believe it sometimes i think this is a big conspiracy ... where "they" try to weld there own beliefs and stuff .... anybody can have a vision ..its the universe in our own head and thoughts .... if u ask me ... and we might jus kill each other or some remains of a supernova might hit us / global warming "pollution" ... or maybe we'll get invaded by UFO's ..... the end is simply not possible to predict by anyone ...
