Welcome to the AnimeFuel Community Forums, I'm the owner of this website Demon fox and lucky for you I'm not here to use my ninja skills on yah, plenty of time for that later I assure you. Instead I'll be telling you a little about this place.
As you should be able to tell by now you are not registered with us as of yet and probably need a good reason to do so. Between you and I we both know you're a lazy bastard and so if you don't even want to listen to the rest of my introduction speech you may as well just go register.
Otherwise here's what you can do on our forums once you've registered. When you register you will be able to chit chat in our forums, entertain yourself with games and share videos with other members. The forums allows you to get access to free downloads shared by members, fast and direct support with video problems from members and staff and make anime requests which are priortized above anyone else's.
There are many more things you can do but our aim is to bring together a community of video fans where you can feel comfortable and make lots of friends around the world. God knows you need them.
So get your butt over to the registration page and join my I mean OUR community. Oh and one more thing watch out for a crazy guy with a gun he's wandering around somewhere in these pages and you'll probably see him if you become really slack with the forum.
This message will self destruct once registration is completed.

I prefer the pop up books with as many pictures as possible, maybe some puzzles, and I like those color by number pictures. Hours of fun.

Dr. Seuss?
I can't stand those books that rhyme. For those I do not have the time. They aren't in the least at all sublime. To read those books should be a crime.

Well if we're recommending books...;)
I would recommend Fantasy Traveler in Black by John Brunner, The Deathgate Cycle (a series) by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman, a lot of books by Marion Zimmer Bradley, Raymond E. Feist, and Roger Zelazny. Sci-Fi Waystation by Clifford D. Simak, a lot of books by Jack Chalker, and Alan Dean Foster. :D |

Isamu Fukui is a new up and coming fiction write I like. He's about 18. I got to read an advanced copy of his first book for the paper I work for. Very well written, very good story, probably one of my favorite authors. Look him up and pick up Truancy in march.

Hmm how to put this, scifi, fantasy, and the odd scifi-fantasy genre, some mystery, I remember falling in love w/ those old The Cat Who books by Lillian Jackson Baum I think it was, but if it's got a front and back cover and pages in between I'm willing to at least read the dust jacket or back of the book to see what it's about, age grouping for books isn't really a consideration for me, I've found great books that are in the young adult section just as often as the normal or "adult" fiction section as if kids and young adults couldn't find books there too, but frankly I buy too many books, I used to work a few stores over from a Border's book store, and I used to go in and drop $60-80 once, sometimes twice a week on a regular basis, and then I'd go back to work and read them there instead of doing actual work, hmm maybe that's why I don't work there anymore.....(it's not but you'd think so wouldn't you) one series I adore is Alan Dean Foster's Pip & Flinx series, although I haven't had a chance to finish it, I also adore Anne McCaffery's Dragonriders of Pern series, Dragonsong and Dragonsinger are two of my favorite books, her Acorna series was good too, well the first two or three books in it I read, never got to the last, but if I had to pick an absolute favorite book/series, it would be a split between the Belgariad and the Elenium/Tamuli sets by David Eddings w/ the Belgariad slightly in the lead, but it's really hard to choose, I've got 3 bookshelves, double stacked in each one, some books also lying sideway's on top of the other books, some of the floor and more in the garage in boxes, and a drawer full of more, it's kind of hard to choose a few things or even one author

I'm about to go pick up a book called 'A Game of Thrones' by George R. R. Martin
"Long ago, in a time forgotten, a preternatural event threw the seasons out of balance. The cold is returning, and in the frozen wastes to the north of Winterfell, sinister forces are massing beyond the kingdom's protective wall. To the south, the King's powers are failing, and his enemies are emerging from the shadows of the throne. At the center of the conflict lie the Starks of Winterfell, a family as harsh and unyielding as the frozen land they were born to. Now Lord Eddard Stark is reluctantly summoned to serve as the King's new Hand, an appointment that threatens to sunder not only his family but also the kingdom itself. A heroic fantasy of lords and ladies, soldiers and sorcerers, assassins and evildoers who come together in a time of grim omens. The first volume in George Martin's series."

Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer were reeeally good. I highly recommend them, along with State of Fear by Michael Crichton. Omg, that book was amazing.
