Hmm I don't remeber ages but I know we had a Sega Genisis and I played My first FPS on a nock off of doom then later we sold it even though it was broken to get a N64 which is still perhaps the most played consule in our house Perfect Dark I have almost fired 300,000 rounds in that game other then that we have two broken ps2's never had any luck with sony so I went with xbox and know we have an original and two 360s. But Now I miss really playing my SNES that I bought one day because Rhino games where I lived closed and that was the only place to buy SNES games.

For me, video games mean one thing: Nintendo. I grew up on Nintendo systems and own every single Nintendo system to date (except for original Gameboy and orginal GBA, for which I am very sad I lack as of now). The only non-Nintendo console I have ever owned is the PsOne, which I only have to play RPGs. I am a collector of sorts, with hundreds of games stockpiled. My collection ranges from the NES to the Wii and everything in between, even the Virtual Boy.

Favorite game series would have to be Metroid... but very very close to that is Zelda. Then there's Mario, Final Fantasy, Kirby, Star Fox etc. etc. I pretty much own every single game from all the mainstream Nintendo series, not all the Mario games of course but I do have most of the rest.

While I haven't been engrossed in video games in a while, they are all still here and they still hold a special place in my heart. I still get the latest games as they come out if they look good, but I think the games made today can't compare to the classics.

In fact, I even took some pictures of my gaming collection a couple years ago. Take a look. (These pics are almost 2 years old so obviously some things have changed, and these are not all of my games.)

I've been playing since Sega, personally. When I was younger, my cousins and I used to be really tight and get together often despite me living an hour away from them all. Out of all our experiences, one I'll never forget is taking turns trying to beat Sonic. That game felt magical back then. ;)

I have been playing video games my whole life hav had allmost every consol under the sun i went to MLG several times for... Counterstrike Source and Starcraft me and my team came first for Css and i came second for Starcraft (damn Korean beat me! ) but yes i love video games and they love me! i was also o the top 100 best would of warcraft players of all time but i got kicked off of that because i stoped playing aftr BC i came back for WOTLK and got Realm first Rogue which is funny cause i havent played the game in like a year and i play my PS3 alot play Little Big Planet, MGS4(MGO), Resistance 2, Cod4, Cod W@W (not as good as call of duty 4) an shit like that

T_T hmmm...I think I started gaming sometime around when Gameboy first came out. Since then i've been able to either loose, break, or have stolen every type of Gameboy since then except my Gameboy Color, the latest being my DS lite:(. I currently have a Wii, and a PS2 in need of repairs. I think the oldest game system i've ever played was either the SEGA Genesis or the NES (whichever came first)...and thats about all the things I can think of that are even slightly interesting.

Anyways, i've been playing video games from a very young age, and as far as i know i've played every single game console there's been, including all portable ones. From the ATARI and the first Gameboy(yes that four-batteries one with the green screen), to all of the current ones. Guess that's why i can adapt to all games and controller configurations(even if not VG related) so quickly and easly

I like how "gamer" has become synonymous with "one that plays video games". You can be a gamer and have never touched a video game in your life.

Im a huge gamer. i just recently purchased two HDTV's well one tv 32in for my room and the other HDTV was a 24 in moniter for my PC and Im drooling over the fact I can play games on that big of moniter and tv. Then I purchased the Bose brand speakers and 3 headsets for when me and my budz can play rock band to the extream loudness without bothering my neighbors. Im a big shooters fan and rock band man. I love the loud noises, the screams, the loud explosians, and the beatuful women. I can't ever get enough!!! I have an Xbox 360, a PS3, a Wii, and a PC..

I've been playing since I was 4 when my dad would leave me in front of Frogger on the C64. It's a wonder I never wrecked it :D

Today I mostly play L2 on a private server, Civ IV, Virtual Pool 3 (it's old, but it's still awesome) and the odd game of online poker.
