I know. Even when you're the Champion nothing happens because each time you go back to the league, the previous Champion is there.

They should have a set of strong trainers vying for the Champion title and hunting you down for it. That should make things interesting.

And the League shouldn't just be five consecutive battles. It should be like a Gym. A few nameless trainers then that member of the Elite Four

Maybe if they made an online pokemon game, where there's just one champion(real player) and other players fought him or something, that'd make things a bit more interesting.

I'd totally pay to play that. Although, it might be too crowded.. since the places are rather small.

OK, this is where a lack of knowledge of competitive Pokemon makes you wrong. What they have with WiFi in Pokemon should not change much, a ladder system would suck. You need to understand that Nintendo would not use proper rules and regulations, while I think that Smogon is up themselves, I do think that they do that job properly. This could only be done with the aid of Smogon.

If you really want an online Pokemon like that, download shoddybattle, you don't walk around, you just battle. It's incredibly competitive though.

Ok, I will give it a try. Also, is there an online multiplayer game that looks like the gamecube's Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness game? Except, you battle, walk around, trade, etc. with other people?

... You got me. Although it's more when people don't know exactly what they're talking about. I got really sick of reviews of DP that didn't mention the most important things in the game (physical-special split, much easier EV training).

I don't think that there's any one like that. It would be way too slow. Shoddy is actually really fast. Ooh, and just because I can mention it and I am trying very hard to do this, I'm trying to get Magikarp into OU, which means that I just have to use it a lot on Shoddy, just as a joke. Want to help?
