Welcome to the AnimeFuel Community Forums, I'm the owner of this website Demon fox and lucky for you I'm not here to use my ninja skills on yah, plenty of time for that later I assure you. Instead I'll be telling you a little about this place.

As you should be able to tell by now you are not registered with us as of yet and probably need a good reason to do so. Between you and I we both know you're a lazy bastard and so if you don't even want to listen to the rest of my introduction speech you may as well just go register.

Otherwise here's what you can do on our forums once you've registered. When you register you will be able to chit chat in our forums, entertain yourself with games and share videos with other members. The forums allows you to get access to free downloads shared by members, fast and direct support with video problems from members and staff and make anime requests which are priortized above anyone else's.

There are many more things you can do but our aim is to bring together a community of video fans where you can feel comfortable and make lots of friends around the world. God knows you need them.

So get your butt over to the registration page and join my I mean OUR community. Oh and one more thing watch out for a crazy guy with a gun he's wandering around somewhere in these pages and you'll probably see him if you become really slack with the forum.

This message will self destruct once registration is completed.

Default This is Irritating

I have just about had it with people who blame their faults on other things. This rant mainly has to do with how everyone is pulling that "Wow, games are ruining my life." Shit. If it's screwing you over then, oh I don't know, don't play?
Sounds reasonable enough doesn't it?

That's what got to me. "I got divorced because my husband had an addiction to World of Warcraft." Well guess what, that ISN'T the games fault. The responsibility for that person's actions are his own. I don't give two shits as to how "addicting" a game is, you choose to play it, you take the responsibility for any outcomes. Don't go blaming the object for the issue.

This does NOT just apply to gaming however, this applies to everything that people get "addicted" too. Whether it's drugs or boose, I don't give a damn, it's your choice for doing it, it's your responsibility, and that's all there is to it.

She wasn't blaming the game for the divorce from what I could tell but I get where you're coming from. People who blame the addiction are just foolish, weak-minded, insecure people. I get the same way sometimes so you aren't alone. But it's just the way that the Earth is. You don't have to accept it but we do have to live with it because it's something that we can't change. There will always be stupid people in the world. Period.

Actually, she did blame it from what I got out of this.

Jocelyn doesn't hesitate to cite Warcraft as the main reason for her divorce and remains emotional about its impact on her marriage. "I'm real, and you're giving me up for a fantasy land. You're destroying your life, your six-year marriage, and you're giving it up for something that isn't even real."

Regardless, you can't fix stupid.

I agree; It's very irritating when people blame their addictions (and other things around them) for how things turn out. As Jack said, they're weak-minded.

It's so easy to just blame anything and everything for problems, and not take any responsibility. But, at the end of the day, the fault is their own because they had the choice to say 'no'.

But, hey, they're not hurting anyone but themselves in the end, ne?

Depending on the situation then yes, they can hurt others. It'd vary in cases though.

I don't get this thow.Is Wow even that addicting? I mean some time ago there was this demo preview thing so I decided to try it out.But I stopped after like 3 or 4 lvls. The max lvl I've got in a game was about 6x in a game named Rappelz, I get bored really fast of a game but i guess it's just me.I too agree that blaming addictions is wrong but I only think that way only when some some1's suffering from one and blaming his addiction for something.I think that girl was right regarding blaming her husband's addiction but that doesn't mean she's a weak/minded fool or anything. Her husband was the one weak-minded that couldn't keep the marriage together cuz of a game.

No one said she was weak-minded. Nor do I care about the reason for his "addiction." It boils down to, it happened, this was the choice he made, your relationship wasn't going to go far if someone could easily pull a stunt like this. If you can ignore your wife that easily, as far as I can tell you are NOT ready for that type of commitment, or you may never be ready.

Now on her part, yes, she was the victim of this outcome, however, did the game choose to give him this 'addiction?'
No, it didn't. He chose to play that often, even though his wife was content with it as long as he spent a little time with her, and that did NOT happen either.
