Welcome to the AnimeFuel Community Forums, I'm the owner of this website Demon fox and lucky for you I'm not here to use my ninja skills on yah, plenty of time for that later I assure you. Instead I'll be telling you a little about this place.

As you should be able to tell by now you are not registered with us as of yet and probably need a good reason to do so. Between you and I we both know you're a lazy bastard and so if you don't even want to listen to the rest of my introduction speech you may as well just go register.

Otherwise here's what you can do on our forums once you've registered. When you register you will be able to chit chat in our forums, entertain yourself with games and share videos with other members. The forums allows you to get access to free downloads shared by members, fast and direct support with video problems from members and staff and make anime requests which are priortized above anyone else's.

There are many more things you can do but our aim is to bring together a community of video fans where you can feel comfortable and make lots of friends around the world. God knows you need them.

So get your butt over to the registration page and join my I mean OUR community. Oh and one more thing watch out for a crazy guy with a gun he's wandering around somewhere in these pages and you'll probably see him if you become really slack with the forum.

This message will self destruct once registration is completed.

Question In the Golden Days of Old...

If you listen to a classic rock station, sure, they usually won't play Metallica or something, but they will play The Clash, which is a punk band.

Metal and punk both fall under rock from 1945 to 1990. And you know, I wasn't really trying to include them in this thread. I was just mentioning that I enjoy them on the side.

You don't need to overreact and go bashing other people's tastes. That's sort of rude.

Oh, and I quite enjoy Buddy Holly as well. Peggy Sue is indeed a great song. My other 50s favorites are The Everly Brothers, Bo Diddly, and Bill Haley.
Well like I said then it was considered classic cult music here and falls that way by me. I didn't mean to make you think "overreaction" its just clearly doesn't fit in my thread here, that's good of you to listen to them, however maybe if you want to list them out or chat on them go right ahead and make a thread for them. I don't mind I made this for all the music I remember on via 194O's early to 1980's late. I was an 80's kid yeah, so understand that there are people who still hate or don't consider Metal or Punk a Rock genre or see it as "extreme". Really this is all I meant. I see it as not rock but its own genre, Metal and classic punk as a sub-category. I knew someone was gonna say The Beatles they are good yeah, they("we") love you ya! ya! ya! The song Strawberry Meadows is my brothers favorite he thinks its epic, lol it is maybe but so is any song they ever played. Abbey Lane is my favorite.

Uh, that's "Stawberry Fields Forever" and "Penny Lane." You confused Penny Lane with Abbey Road, which is an album.

But yes, Stawberry Fields Forever and Penny Lane are both wonderful songs. I once loved Penny Lane so much that it made me want to name my first daughter Penny when I actually get around to having kids.

Haha, well, as long as it's still a normal name I think they'll be okay.

But I don't really like the name Penny much anymore, so I switched to Michelle...which would still be named after another song by The Beatles. "Michelle" is what it's called. Great song. You can even learn a bit of French from it.

Hmm...although, I can't think of a Beatles song I don't like. I suppose their early work is pretty mediocre compared to their later work, but it's still good pop-rock material. Sometimes I think their song "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" is kinda lame, but in retrospect, it's not so bad.

Well yeah that's a good name my friend has the name. For her 15th I played the song for her. She never knew it was a song name too. She is the sweetest girl I knew in class as well. so it turned out great. Another artist I love is Billy Joel "We Can't Stop the Fire..." it was awesome the lyrics have a beat you cant get rid of while you cant seem to remember the words sometimes, lol

Haha, you were right about names escaping you. It's "We Didn't Start the Fire." But it's okay. Some of us are forgetful. :3

Yeah, Billy Joel is pretty awesome. My personal favorite of his is "Only the Good Die Young."

Not agian? ....... :(

Anyway I love music just like most do, there is a lot of music I have all on 75's 35's and even juke 45's. I have a massive library of originals that play well and have not a scratch. I got a Record player for transcribing them to MP3 format and CD style, its all on over 50 Gigs of Hard Data space on my external 1TB Drive. Its all Golden Rock n' Roll to me. ^^

Black Sabbath is one old rock band I was never really able to get into all that much. They just seem really dull to me a lot of times, especially after Ozzy left and Dio stormed in and turned them into a carbon copy of his own band (Dio).

But nevertheless, Paranoid is still mostly a good album. Their debut is pretty good too, especially because of the song "The Wizard."
