“Serah!” Snow scream as he and the others woke up on the now crystallize lake Bresha. “Is this...for real?” Snow asked, “This must be....Lake Bresha? I guess we fell from up there, and the lake turned to crystal? Help me out here! I mean, did the fal'Cie do this? How in the world did we end up here?” Sazh asked anybody who might know. “How should I know?” Lightning told Sazh. “We're alive. How?” Vanille asked “Serah! No one survives a fall from that high, not without a miracle. Serah saved us!” “Serah? Listen. It's all your fault she got-” Lightning was about to finish when a Cie'th comes out of nowhere. Lightning was about to get attack by this thing but Snow step in and saved her.

“Watch out” Snow scream as he put his hand in front of him to block the beast, then this baby blue light started to glow from his tattoo (or aka the Pulse brand.) Then ice burst out of his hand “What did I...just do?” “You used magic! You used the power of a l'Cie. The fal'Cie cursed us. We're l'Cie now!” Hope said as he got up from the ground. “Right.” Lightning said as she pulled out her blade and the fight begins. Snow freeze them with his magic. Then Lightning dose her old slash and dice as Sazh shoot their fucking heads off. “So we really are l'Cie.” Snow said as he look down at his arm.

After Snow said that everybody look at their own marks. “Looks like it.” Sazh said in disbelief, “You too?” “Yep. Right here.” Vanille said as she lifted her skirt reviling the mark on her outer thigh. “L'Cie to the last.” Lightning said as everybody turn and stir at Hope as he falls to his knees, “Why me? I don't even know you! But you have to go and attack that thing? Just leave me alone! It's your fault-it's your fault my-! You could've-! All of this is your and Serah's fault!” Hope screamed into Snow face. “Watch it!” Snow scream back and scared Hope haft to death he fell and scoot back away from him.

“Everything is gonna be all right. You'll see. Come on.” Vanille said making Hope feel better.

“Okay, if we don't know our Focus, how do we complete it?” Lightning asked, “I think...I saw it.” “Saw what?” “That is how a Focus comes down, people. The fal'Cie? They don't spell it out with clear-cut instructions. All you get is a hazy glimpse.” Sazh told everyone while Lightning and Snow just look at him. “Well, that's what they say. You know, legends and all.” “Did you see anything?” Lightning asked hope, “I uh-I just... It's all kind of foggy, but...I saw this big-I mean towering-” “W-wait a minute. Hold on now Did we all have the same dream?” “Ragnarok.” Lightning and Snow said at the same time.

Then they saw the dream again a towering beast with crown like thing on his head coming out of the water of some kind, with it's arms spreading over a large area of land then they woke up.

“So, we all saw the same dream. We all heard that same voice.” “You mean that was our Focus? But how are we supposed to know what to do from that?” Hope asked Sazh, “That's the tricky part. The dream's the only hint the fal'Cie gives us. Figuring out what to do with it-that's our job!” Vanille explain. “Okay, okay...We're Pulse l'Cie, right? Enemies of Cocoon! So, does that mean that our Focus is-? Are we supposed to-” “Save her.” “Say what?” “Our Focus to protect Cocoon.” “Really? Okay, and why's that?” Vanille asked Snow “Serah told us. Let's do it. We're all in this together. I'm gonna look for Serah. She ought to be nearby.” Snow said and took off to find Serah and the rest follow.
Thus begins they're journey to save Cocoon.

They set off to find Serah fighting every Cie'th that comes near them then they stop to catch they're breath. “We fight it! Ragnarok! That's the reason we're l'Cie. To stop it-to keep Cocoon safe!” “Yeah, why don't you give us one reason to believe that? One reason.” Sazh told Snow “Serah. She said to protect Cocoon, and then she turned to crystal. That's the proof right there. She completed her Focus! That means ours is to save Cocoon. Serah's fal'Cie was the same as ours. Our Focus has got to be the same.” Snow continue. “We were chosen to be guardians, to defeat Ragnarok! It makes sense!” “The hell it does! You're grasping at straws, son! Pulse fal'Cie are Cocoon's enemies. We just got recruited by one of them. If I were a betting man...I'd put us on the other side.” Sazh told Snow telling him off. “So Serah's an enemy to? Well I don't buy it!” Snow turn to Lightning “We have the power to save Cocoon. If we work together and carry out our Focus-”

“Our Focus? The fal'Cie took Serah from us, and you want to help it? Whose side you on?” Lightning told Snow with her blade against his neck. “Freeze!” one soldier order them as they surrounded them, “Place your hands behind your heads! You fall off the Purge train?” “Maybe.” Lightning smart mouth the soldier. “Are you talking back to me?” “Nice gun.” Lightning told him then she smack the gun out of his hands and elbow him in the face, throw him into the air then stomp him into the ground.

Snow and Lighting kick their asses. “I thought they'd be tougher than that. These guys are PSICOM, yeah? Supposed to be cream-of-the-crop.” “Yeah, but PSICOM's an anti-Pulse task force. Haven't fought a war in centuries. Bunch of rookie troops swinging around overpriced toys.” “So, from what you're telling me, it sounds like a regular old soldier...has got more training than special forces.” Sazh told Snow. “Nothing for us l'Cie to be afraid of.” “Cut the crap. Their grunts might be green, but PSICOM's elites are cold-blooded beasts. When they hit the field and it's game over.” Lightning told Snow. “Uh-oh then let's run away! Ciao!” Vanille said and runs off and the others follow.

They continue to look for Serah climbing over debris fighting monsters, then finally they found Serah now crystallize body.”Serah” Lighting said follow by Snow. “I'll get you out of there!” Snow said and grab a piece of debris and begins to try to dig her out Sazh and Vanille jump in and helped him. “Thanks.” he said to both of them. “This is good-bye.” Lightning said and begins to walk off but Snow stops her, “Lightning? You're just gonna leave her?” “PSICOM will be here soon. If they find us we're all dead. You think Serah would want that? You think you know how she feels?” “if I leave her, then I'll never know. We'll be fine. I can handle anything they throw at us. No one will die. I'll protect Serah. And Cocoon!”

Lightning lost her cool and punch Snow. “Does she look protected to you?” “I can save her!” Lightning punch him again, “What can you possibly do?” “Whatever it takes!” Snow told Lightning as he get up again. She realize he not lying and lower her fist, “You two are hopeless.” Sazh told to both Lightning and Snow. “You just can't admit it.” he told Lightning as Snow went back to digging “You want to say as much as he does.”

Then the metal scorpion return for one last battle but they took care of that.. Lightning was about to leave again but Snow stop her again, “You're leaving?” Snow asked Lightning but she didn't answer “We want to help Serah too. But without tools...we could be digging for days. The army's on our trail. For now, we've got to keep moving. For now.” Sazh told Snow try to calm him down but no luck. “So I just abandon her, and save myself?” “What about your Focus? What happened to banding together and saving the world? Isn't that what you promised? Now you want to forget it all and die right here? Snow? You're nothing but talk.”

“Lightning! I'll do whatever it takes. I'll finish this Focus...and keep Serah safe that's my promise.” “You're doing grate so far.” Lightning told him and walk off. “Stay out of trouble.” Snow told Sazh, “You too.” Sazh told Snow and went to join Lightning. “Get going.” he told Vanille and hope. Vanille left and Hope was about to leave but he stop and turn back. “Snow..” “Save it for next time kiddo. Or you get left behind.” “Right...but” “It's okay Hope. Light will take care of you. We'll meet again.” “Yeah. Count on it.” Hope stormed off to join the rest and Snow went straight back to digging.

As Snow stay behind the rest continue on to escape from the PSICOM Soldiers fighting Cie'th , soldiers, and other enemies they bump into, they begin to climb up a tall cliff when they heard a sound of plains over head so they stop on one of the perch to see what going on.

“Seep Team! Form ranks!” A soldier yell out. “They must be hunting down Purge survivors.” Sazh said “I hope everyone made it out okay.” Vanille told Sazh. “So do I. But nowhere is safe for them now.” he told Vanille. “Damn it! Just cause they shared a neighborhood with a fal'Cie...They get treated like Pulse-tainted rats.” “People really hate Pulse, don't they?” “Not hate. More like fear. Tens of millions of people...all scared of Pulse boogeyman. They'd be shaking in their beds every night if they knew...that l'Cie like us were around.” “But. They Purged that entire town!” “It's crazy I know. But the Sanctum fal'Cie did nothing to stop it. Up until now, Eden's always stepped in...to correct their errors in judgment. Guess humans aren't worth the effort. Figure they'll let us just kill each other off.” “L'Cie are not human.” Hope said interrupting Vanille's and Sazh's conversion.

“Listen, you, that's enough!” Vanille snapped at Hope and grab his arms then let go they both begin to blush. “We're still alive. That's something.” Then a loud sound came from above they all look up and saw a ship. “they're sealing off the area. They're trying to trap the stragglers. We've got to get moving before we're caught in the net.” Lightning told everyone and they continue up the cliff.

As they came to the top of the cliff they found them selves in front of a weird building crystallize flames all over, they explore the place trying to find away to escape. After walking around for 5mins they found them selves in a grate hall.”Wow!” Vanille said amaze by the beauty of the hall.

“Stay close.” Lighting warn Vanille “I want to look around.” she told her started skipping off but when she turn the corner she came face to face with a flying beast. And she came running back screaming her head off. “Help me!” Vanille pleaded to anyone. “Vanille this way get behind me!” Sazh told her and she hid behind a pillar. While he, Hope and Lightning took care of the giant bird. Lightning slash it down with her blade as Hope help her by throwing his boomerang. Then Sazh blast it away with his guns then the bird went flying back through the crystal and die in the next room.

They enter and they found a ship. “Check it out!” Vanille told them “Come on. Hop to it, let's go!” Sazh said rushing everybody. “This will make things easier.” “Yeah, knowing our luck, it's probably missing an engine.” “You shouldn't be so negative.” Vanille told Sazh off, “And you shouldn't get your hopes up.” he told her and they get ready to leave.

Snow continue to dig and unaware that a strange woman in blue with a few soldiers watching him in the distance. Then another group of solders came in try to take Snow away from his future wife. “Sweep Team to base. L'Cie spotted. I repeat, l'Cie spotted.” “You gonna lend me a hand, or what?” Snow asked the soldiers. “Commencing clean up protocol.” “Clean up? Let me help!” Snow told him then he threw the pipe into a soldier face. The other solders was about to attack but Snow tattoo begin to glow again this time in grate pain. Then these two beautiful Blue ladies know as the Shiva sisters came flying out of nowhere, and wipe out the entire group of soldiers then they turn to him. Snow realize now he must take control of them.

It took him about 10mins but he did it and the sisters transformed into a motorcycle then he fell to the ground in pain. Then the woman in blue and her group of soldiers jump down from the cliff.

“The twin sisters. I've got to hand it to you for taking 'em down, but don't gloat just yet. Might come a time you wish you'd let 'em end it and made things easy.” “More of you huh?” Snow said trying to get up. “He's a l'Cie. Take him.” she told the soldiers, “Back off” He told her “You want to keep breathing? Shut up and come quiet.” she told him elbowing him in the face. “You too? Why are you helping them?” He asked her as he is carry away. “If I were you, I'd worry about myself.”

Sazh got the ship started and they took off but the soldiers try to stop them. They started to blast them with lasers, “Awww no!” Sazh said as he try to dodge them “Give me that!” Lightning order. She fire back at them destroying one, “Did we get 'em?” “We got one of them.” Lightning told Vanille as they fly into the blue sky. “They're still behind us!” Hope told to both Sazh and Lightning. They dodge buildings left and right then they flew by Eden then they lose them. “Next, an update on the status of the Purge. Just moments ago, the Sanctum announced the successful conclusion of the Purge...along with the safe arrival of the Cocoon migrants to their new homes on Pulse. Yes, that is correct. There's no denying the enormity of the strain the Purge placed on us all. But, given the tens of millions of lives at stake, there truly was no alternative. When asked about the possibility of future Purges, the Primarch remained noncommittal.” “Yeah, that's right. If it makes the Sanctum look bad, it never happened.” “In all the centuries since the War of Transgression...Cocoon has been spared Pulse aggression, and prospered for it.” “Hey who is this guy?” Vanille asked Sazh “He's Galenth Dysley. The Sanctum Primarch. Murderer-in-chief.” “Just another tool of the fal'Cie.” Lightning said and as she did the engine gave out and they fell right out of the sky.
