Welcome to the AnimeFuel Community Forums, I'm the owner of this website Demon fox and lucky for you I'm not here to use my ninja skills on yah, plenty of time for that later I assure you. Instead I'll be telling you a little about this place.
As you should be able to tell by now you are not registered with us as of yet and probably need a good reason to do so. Between you and I we both know you're a lazy bastard and so if you don't even want to listen to the rest of my introduction speech you may as well just go register.
Otherwise here's what you can do on our forums once you've registered. When you register you will be able to chit chat in our forums, entertain yourself with games and share videos with other members. The forums allows you to get access to free downloads shared by members, fast and direct support with video problems from members and staff and make anime requests which are priortized above anyone else's.
There are many more things you can do but our aim is to bring together a community of video fans where you can feel comfortable and make lots of friends around the world. God knows you need them.
So get your butt over to the registration page and join my I mean OUR community. Oh and one more thing watch out for a crazy guy with a gun he's wandering around somewhere in these pages and you'll probably see him if you become really slack with the forum.

Okay...
If you are comparing overall, the anime beats the movie. There is no way the human race would have won against any of the 4 nations benders. The Avatar animals would have a better chance of winning against the Avatar:T.L-A. animals as long as the Dragons Ren and Shaw are not involved. But when I 1st heard about the movie Avatar, I thought it was based off the X-Box game until I found out otherwise. That is what I think.

What the christ? They're not even remotely similar. And to the above poster, there's nothing in this thread that says "who would win in a battle?" Not every thread here is like that, even if a lot of them (unfortunately) are.
Anyway, it's a good movie, but I didn't think it was particularly amazing anything. Likewise, the cartoon, which I don't really think of as an anime (and I don't care to hear yet another discussion on why it should, so don't bother), is a good show, but again not particularly amazing. In short I could care less which is better but for the sake of discussion I'll say the movie is. Besides, as a genre, film is better than TV shows anyway.

Well I have seen both and I have to say there is no real comparison between the two other then the name which as some have pointed out makes no sense what so ever.Now there WILL me an Avatar the Last Airbender live action film to be out soon and if you decide to make another thread like this one it would be more appropriate seeing as how the two are actually related in more then just there title, but that just my opinion
