Welcome to the AnimeFuel Community Forums, I'm the owner of this website Demon fox and lucky for you I'm not here to use my ninja skills on yah, plenty of time for that later I assure you. Instead I'll be telling you a little about this place.
As you should be able to tell by now you are not registered with us as of yet and probably need a good reason to do so. Between you and I we both know you're a lazy bastard and so if you don't even want to listen to the rest of my introduction speech you may as well just go register.
Otherwise here's what you can do on our forums once you've registered. When you register you will be able to chit chat in our forums, entertain yourself with games and share videos with other members. The forums allows you to get access to free downloads shared by members, fast and direct support with video problems from members and staff and make anime requests which are priortized above anyone else's.
There are many more things you can do but our aim is to bring together a community of video fans where you can feel comfortable and make lots of friends around the world. God knows you need them.
So get your butt over to the registration page and join my I mean OUR community. Oh and one more thing watch out for a crazy guy with a gun he's wandering around somewhere in these pages and you'll probably see him if you become really slack with the forum.
This message will self destruct once registration is completed.

...and I really like what I've seen so far.
The following is a bit of background, if interested... I've enjoyed animation for many years. In fact, my fascination began during one of my secret, midnight forays downstairs to plunder our stock of maraschino cherries & to watch late night TV -and I'm probably about to give away my age range...- Anticipating a horror flick on Chiller Theater -hosted by Pittsburgh's own Bill "Chilly Billy" Cardille- or another zany episode of Benny Hill, you can imagine my surprise when my pre-tween eyes beheld the most bizarre of "cartoons"...René Laloux's Fantastic Planet ...aaaaannnnd I was HOOKED. And then frustrated...denied, even! The choices of animation that a child could get his/her hands on in the 70s & early 80s were slim-to-none. Speed Racer & transforming, feline-like robots were about it. Next, Heavy Metal. Then -finally!- "anime" became more widely featured. And yet, it's only until recently that I've been actively searching it out. It's amazing how much is out there compared to 20+ years ago! I must admit to feeling a little spread thin regarding all the stories I've been following, but I'd have to say that my "Top 2" series', at this time, are Vampire Knight & Bleach. ...but I've only just begun... *Mwuah ha ha ha ha!* Some of the anime-style movies I've enjoyed throughout the years are (in no particular order): Howl's Moving Castle, Angel's Egg, Nausicaa, My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service, and of course, Ghost in the Shell & Akira. Besides my newly-focused interest in anime, I'm an avid reader, and enjoy a wide range of genres (inc. graphic novels & comics), with my favorite being Fantasy. I also follow a number of webcomics on sites such as Zuda Comics & Girlamatic. Some personal favorites from these sites are Gettosaki's Bayou, Dylan Meconis' Bite Me!, and anything I've read by Sarah Ellerton at The Seraph Inn. I also enjoy browsing the creations of the many artists featured at deviantART. I've found this site -& others of similar content- to be a great way to get turned on to new & interesting realms of the art world. I'm looking forward to exploring all that AnimeFuel has to offer, and maybe getting to know some of you while I'm at it. so...Hello! ![]() |

The Penguins, huh? I can roll with that, too. We used to watch their practices at the rink in Mt. Lebo. They'd shoot pucks over the glass for us kids to catch...hurt like He\\, but worth every bruise!
I remember when they won the Stanley Cup back in '90...'91? I was in Oakland that night watching the game, and after they won the whole town went IN-SANE!!! The bars emptied out like they were on fire...people were tipping over cars, rocking buses...with riders still inside AND people climbing all over them. Finally the cops arrived and forced everyone caught outside to walk down the Ave until everyone chilled. It was a T-R-I-P! *sigh G*d...I loved the 'burgh!

I'm originally from the South Hills, but after moving out, I worked/lived/partied in downtown, Oakland, Shadyside...even East Liberty for a couple of years <--a bit unsettling at times. Each area was a far cry from the world I grew up in on the "other side" of the bridge, that's for sure.
My Oakland days were, I must admit the most interesting. Many of the people I met were brilliant & unusual -mostly artists & musicians. A couple have even survived to become pretty well-known, in a cult-classic sorta way. Boy, I sure ended up with some crazy-ass roommates, too! It seemed as though there was a revolving do one oddity after another. Is Oakland still a mecca for the "creative" types? Damn...I hope so! Signing off for the night...later!
