As to your problem Bob there are actually quite few problems you could be encountering, foremost of which is that you may be typing ether the channel or host name irc.renmei.deltaanime.net incorrectly. On that note if you're using mibbit the site has spotty service at best.

IRC huh? that is the oldest form of "instant" text messageing, upgrade to Skype or perhaps Gtalk (google)? Its less complex and you can group contacts together in both.They both allow for voice and video chat, as well as other small and unique features like free service. Oh and Gtalk allows for your AIM contacts to be allowed in too, supposedly it also allows other IM services like MSN or Yahoo to add you and talk but I have not tried that yet.

I understand that this site we call Anime-Fuel has ultimately hit the downhill since my last log before this last September. I'm going to try to suggest ideas that may steadily improve us and our unique experiences here at A.F. ... as this has always been my privilege to aid our community by any possible means.

I copied and pasted the hostname, so I know it is correct.

Mibbit works on other IRC channels I spam, err, lurk on.
