Eternal Night Chapter 1

The suicide I don't regret
No pills No guns
But three knives
As the blood flowed out
And death creeped in
My walk to hell was slow and steady
But a man came
Laughing at my bloody wrists and chest
"Hell has denied you, Heaven won't allow you"
Was this a joke?
Was I dreaming?
Had the cold chill of death really taken me?
If so who was this man?
"Go back to your body, You are not ready for Death"
When the sound of birds called to me
My eyes fluttered open
I was in my room
On my bed
It was a dream
One glance at the clock sent me flying
Being late to school was something I could not do
A quick trip to the shower was all it took
Then a scream
It wasn't a dream
Three Scars I've never seen
Marked my Wrists and Chest
Images from the night before
Came flashing through my head
The water in the shower
Still running
~ The hate streaming through my mind
As I held The Blades in the moonlight
The full moon That seeped through my bedroom Window
Made them sparkle
Then the slightest cut
Made my mind spin
A red line appeared where the cut was made
Beautiful
The one word that came to mind
So I cut a little deeper
Prolonging my walk to hell
I knew what my punishment would be
The sin of taking your life before its time
The worst sin of them all
I knew if I worked fast I could get them all in
Maybe it could wake my mom from her trance
Maybe my bloody body would stop the scare
From the sicknee consuming my father
A child left alone is no longer a child
Or so they say
I guess I'm no longer the child I was......
Another red line
then another
marking the X that would end everything
A mark over my heart
Two more X's marked my wrists
It seemed like
I'd lived 14 long years
But it could all end in an instant
It felt like I had lived for nothing
This made my urge for death stronger
I didn't even feel the first one go in
Just a shade of red that over took my vision
The second was perfect
A dull aching was shot through my body
Pausing for only a moment
The third sent Blackness through my eyes~
My eyes shot open
The returning sound of the shower
Came to my ears
I slid down on my hands and knees
Crying was the only thing I could do
I would let the shower wash away my tears
And the sound of the shower cover my cry's
No one could know
No one could see
No one could help...........





Lol sorry Guys its been so long ^.^ School is killer. But for a treat I'm posting the first chapter in a book I started working on Lol I'm only posting this chapter So sorry it will seem a little incomplete ^.^ any questions or comments just Pm me. I love your opinions so don't be afraid to tell me the truth about it (The whole book is in poetry form so please don't say its just a really long poem Lol cause then I'll think you don't have a brain to think with :P)

i am intrigued and want more, its definitely shady but i cant look away, the little tilde thing, or this "~", was the only thing that split it for me, these were my takes on what followed after it

1.)was that the images flashing by, and in a sense making her re-do what had been done before

2.)or was it as if the girl was watching what she had done the night before, like we stepped back in time as the scarred girl watched herself creating those scars admiring the work that she had done

these two things sound almost similar but im interested in "how" these images came flashing back, but overall i like it, i want all the chapters!

Thank you for being Direct ^.^ The "~" Was to show that there was a flash back. I don't type my work. I feel better writing it on paper and when I wrote it I didn't add the "~" And it was kind of confusing about what was going on so I added it. I'm still working on, it I'm on like the 12th chapter so far and I didn't want to post the whole thing cause I kind of wanted to try and get it published :P I'm sure it will never happen but I wish it would Lol. If you want to read more then send me a private message and I'll send you a few chapters. I just don't want anyone to take my work that's important cause I hear a lot of that's going on. Thank you again for the advice and I'll work on fixing the entry into the Flashback ^.^

hahaha no problem i understand, thats the reason why barely any of my work is on this site or any site for that matter, but i will take you up on your offer! ;P
i am curious on this and i do hope you can get it published, so i can read it all!
