Welcome to the AnimeFuel Community Forums, I'm the owner of this website Demon fox and lucky for you I'm not here to use my ninja skills on yah, plenty of time for that later I assure you. Instead I'll be telling you a little about this place.

As you should be able to tell by now you are not registered with us as of yet and probably need a good reason to do so. Between you and I we both know you're a lazy bastard and so if you don't even want to listen to the rest of my introduction speech you may as well just go register.

Otherwise here's what you can do on our forums once you've registered. When you register you will be able to chit chat in our forums, entertain yourself with games and share videos with other members. The forums allows you to get access to free downloads shared by members, fast and direct support with video problems from members and staff and make anime requests which are priortized above anyone else's.

There are many more things you can do but our aim is to bring together a community of video fans where you can feel comfortable and make lots of friends around the world. God knows you need them.

So get your butt over to the registration page and join my I mean OUR community. Oh and one more thing watch out for a crazy guy with a gun he's wandering around somewhere in these pages and you'll probably see him if you become really slack with the forum.

Well, I think it would be better if you HAD the swine flu...

Anyway, I agree with the suggestions here, soup, lots of water (and tea), rice, crackers and lots of fruits, mostly oranges. If you end up taking antibiotics make sure to take them FOR A WHOLE WEEK and follow the instructions closely. Make sure you do that, it's very important. If you start taking antibiotics then you should absolutely take them for a whole week even if you might be feeling better before that. If not, it is very dangerous for the virus to evolve, resist the antibiotic and you'll end up in the hospital! So be careful of that okay!

There is one sure fire, always works cold cure.

First- You must travel to Kokomo Indiana and receive fine beach sand....

Second- Buy a gallon of milk. 2% or D.

Third- You must collect two ounces of John Maddens sweat.

Forth- Light a fire on top of Mt. Everest.

Fifth- Slide down the mountain using the dead body of Michael Jackson.
(repeat step if you enjoy it)

Sixth- Find my keys.

Seventh- Find and kill a unicorn with a spit wad.

Well, putting that aside you should always watch out for high fever, take some aspirins if necessary, take some of those candies that help you with your sore throat and if your nose really bothers you take some Otrivin or something similar (do NOT overuse this though, use it only if your nose becomes really bothersome). Other than that... well, if it gets real bad then you should go to a hospital... look out for that swine flu too, even though if you caught it you would be really lucky!!!
I think the aspirin bottle said not to take if you have flue symptoms

AF, I will share with you my secret to colds and flus.
I'm currently in a sick free stretch of 2.5 years, since a horrible month and a half long super cold.
My formula consists of 3 elements, and though they work wonders they're better as a preventative measure rather than a cure all. So if you feel the symptoms of a cold coming on, you chug down these 3 things:

fresh garlic (cooked or otherwise, no powdered sh*t)
ginger
citrus fruits (oranges/lemons/limes/grapefruit)

garlic is an immune booster, as is ginger. ginger is considered a super food by most, because of it's curative properties. good for stomach aches and sea sickness apparently.
The citrus is just for vitamin C. This would work as it does me since you've got no vitamins in the house.

there's plenty of stuff to do with these ingredients. the only tricky one for me was ginger, but it works well in currys and asian food. also if you want something super tasty and amazing, make ginger/lemon tea. just cut a slice of lemon and 7-8 thin slices of ginger and pour boiling water on top. I drink it all winter long for it's yumminess, and in the summer I make a jug and put it in the fridge. so refreshing.
otherwise eat foods with garlic (garlic bread, galicky pasta, creamy veg soups, curry) and have an orange every now and again.

You don't have to do it every day, but it has the power to grow on you. Just do it whenever you're sick or feel like you're getting sick and your immune system will jump into super mode.
