The forums allows you to get access to free downloads shared by members, fast and direct support with video problems from members and staff and make anime requests which are priortized above anyone else's.

There are many more things you can do but our aim is to bring together a community of video fans where you can feel comfortable and make lots of friends around the world. God knows you need them.

So get your butt over to the registration page and join my I mean OUR community. Oh and one more thing watch out for a crazy guy with a gun he's wandering around somewhere in these pages and you'll probably see him if you become really slack with the forum.

I see it as another way for parents to rely on someone else to raise their children for them. The ESRB is all that is needed. They do the samething as the film board does for movies. Kids under certain ages aren't allowed in certain rateings, but parents still take their children. Example I saw "Rise of the Lycans" in the theater and saw a family with a 2 and 3 yr old in the movie. Needless to say the kids started crying in the middle of it. All I could think was unbelievable. There are stupid parents out there that will continue to buy these games for their kids and it's sad that the gameing companies are getting punished when they are the ones actually obeying the laws. Before instateing new ones a harsh look needs to be taken at where the root of the problem lies.

The rating system is effective (to be honest it's not hard to miss the letter at the bottom right hand corner), retailers are upholding that they need to check and make sure kids aren't buying those games, and are therefore not at fault if a parental buys the game. In my opinion, parents are more to blame for the kid playing these video games. If the parent bought, or allowed their child to buy a game they didn't approve of, why are they running to the government for help? They have hands don't they? Take the damn thing away. The parent is responsible for the child, not the retailer selling games, or Jack Thompson. It's stupid to think that adults are fighting over banning games more than the gamers themselves are fighting over unfair play. It is true that younger kids will act out the characters from a game they played because they think it's cool, but it's not the games fault they're doing that. it didn't tell the kid he/she would be beyond cool if they acted out killing someone. Seems to me that parents are getting lazier everyday concerning the care of the children.

For now I'm going to stop because I have no idea where I'm going with this and I think I'm just rambling.
i agree with you boo it's just idiotic parents and politicians who haven't played a game in their life complaining about the game they buy for their kids. hell there are few games rated m games i wouldn't buy because of the content it has in it. for example i went to gamestop last week because they have a buy two get one free sale. one of the games i got happened to be Assassin's Creed. mom finds out and flips because she heard that there was sex in the game, and even tried to take it back saying it was an "evil game" they talked about on the news. i showed her why it was rated m and she eventually backed down after showing her a review.

If you thought the Joker in Dark Knight was bad then apparently you have never seen this joker.

When I was younger, around 11-14 years old, I was angry due to stupid bullies tormenting me at school, Grand Theft Auto helped me in that it released my stress and anger, instead of just snapping and finding a gun to shoot people in real life, to me, the game helped prevent me from doing just that.

If parents want to whine about those games, then they should think clearly and harder about the types of games they should buy for their kids.

I read a study somewhere that kids who play video games are more likely to do better in life than if they havent played any games at all. Playing games sometimes requires teamwork, or a precise hand or very good hand-eye coordination and very detailed and precise strategizing of what to do next, games in essence can be used to help our kids grow up to become very efficient doctors, or surgeons, or great business people, or even a great sports star!

Games shouldnt be censored, only encouraged, I believe that Video Games are a must if you want to improve yourself!

Hmm This reminds me of a little indecent in the 50s about Comics and there apparent evil. Which resulted in them making there own rating system. But back to games it all does come down to the parents because it should all be on the level they feel there children are at and if they can handle that game or movie.
