Allow teachers to carry Guns in schools?

Allow teachers to carry Guns! I don't think so!
I work at a school; some of the teachers I would not let allowed to carry a pack of gum. I think that schools are so desperate to get teachers they are are not doing background checks well enough. Though some of the students are not even smart enough to be a speed bump.

we all know how we youngsters think and when we see somthing that kind of cool for us,.we tend to do the same withouht thinking of the consequences!,.

it might cause us to think "oh my professor's bringing with him a gun and i think it's cool so i can do the same (even without adult's notice)",.

and with that,.it may cause accidents,.

teachers are the role models for the students so,.i dont think it's nice to bring guns with them!,.♥

Sure, why not? Maybe have a mine field too so that students don't run on the hallways. And of course the director could be a SWAT member instead of a teacher. Another interesting idea is to give the cleaning ladies some firearms and a couple of katanas for close distance use. Sounds great!

Is this what the teachers represent nowadays? When you can't convince someone to act well resort to violence? It goes against all of society's morals and beliefs. Besides that though, it is not practical either. Teachers are not trained to use them. Guns are made to kill people. If one is not trained well there will be many sad consequences. And I do not think that teachers should train in war...

That a terrifying idea. You can't fight fire with fire. I doubt that any caring parent would allow their child to go to school if this would happen.

Who in their right mind would let a group of teachers carry around guns? To even consider this is just stupid. Our society knows the harmful effects of guns, and keeping them near a group of children should be out of the question, and completely ridiculous!
Not to say that guns should be completely band, because they do provide protection.
Who actually would vote for that?!

take note:if the teachers loose control and shoot...then she woould be on prison..isnt it great the lesser the teacher the lesser the class hours is hahahahahaha!!!or someday there would be no theachers anymore!!!!!no more schools...and classess...im tired of it...
