Allow teachers to carry Guns in schools?

I think it is a perfectly sound idea now I may be crazy. Think about it what about in high crime areas or a hostile parent in certain enviroments it may be a good idea and you all seem to have it in your head that all teachers are crazy mother fuckers but that is the extreme one percent maybe. More teachers are there to help people and these situation would be all resolved by all the reforms that would happen if this was to be put in place. Also mike if a teacher was pushed far enough they could simpily buy a gun and bring it in and kill people. There is one police officer at most schools I have been to and in the event of a shoot out one person may not be enough to stop the situation before it gets to far out of hand but maybe only arming a few of the teacher may work.

I'm going to go out and say that I don't see teachers as being crazy badass mofo's looking to blow some steam, I just think they're incompetent as a whole when it comes to firearms. It's better to leave the guns in the hands of the people who're trained to use them.

To allow teachers to carry guns in schools sound like a total insane idea to me. Teachers job is to teach not to use guns. If anyone needs a protection or wants to execute the law then they should rely on the Police or other Security forces.

I can't understand why a teacher would even walk anywhere near a school without being equipped with a firearm. Children are crazy. Everyone should get guns. More people need to own guns. More people need to shoot other people with guns. Teachers get guns, students get guns, EVERYONE SHOULD GET A GUN.

I donno... I still think it's a bad idea, I suppose it depends on the place however. The matter of guns being in the school in the first place is just insane... bringing the guns to school is only the start of it. Teachers do teach not to use them, however kids being the way they are and I'm sure you all know what I mean, they don't listen. They don't care for that matter. *shrugs* I donno what can be done for the matter, more gun control would be nice but that's like saying we need to rid the world of polution. It needs to be done, but will never happen in full until everyone gets their act together.

Don't get me wrong, I feel bad for those teachers, and that shooting was horrible just to hear nevermind being part of it. *shivers at the thought* If you think of it though, anything can be turned into a weapon, you just need to know how to use it.. (yes I understand that is a bad thought, but it's true)

Sir are you aware that there are firearms that only respond to a particular frequency or something that is emitted by a watch and if only the teacher has one then it makes it kind of hard.

That is one person to most granted that will solve most problems but a major problem if it is one person it seems that it would be kind of hard if there where more then one person.

True but how do we make people not incompetent and don't most teachers go to trainings as odd as that sounds for this particular situation.
