first if the dude that created character battle is reading this i'm sorry for messing up your thread once i get going i can't stop and second the first battle of gundam wing vs seed is wing zero custom vs freedom and athrun vs. heero. want to get up to date on battle first read character battle.

So far, what we've discussed are the following:

Freedom Gundam would win, combining the technology with the coordinator skills of the pilot, the zero system would be on a disadvantage. Also taking freedom's speed and agility into consideration, the "laser canon-type" wing zero custom would have a really hard time hitting him.

In terms of fire power yes wing zero custom would be the one with the strongest, but the match isn't only decided by those. Freedom gundam is fast enough to be able to avoid those "gun with the power of 20 nukes".

And Heero's an idiot for standing in something detonating. Athrun only did what was logical and rational; to avoid being exploded on.

Kira fought 4 vs 1 with an incomplete gundam, and wins most of the time.

No I don't. Also when it comes to gundam series, Wing goes first and SEED/Destiny only comes second.

And to correct you Shonen, Athrun isn't the pilot of ZGMF-X10A Freedom. The pilot of Freedom is Kira Yamato, considered to be the ultimate coordinator of his time. Gawd, i can't believe I didn't recognize this earlier.

Also take into consideration, Freedom gundam gets an upgrade at GSD where he gets the Dragoon System, more boosters, and an improved shield, and more i just forgot.

It doesn't make sense comparing two gundams yet not including their pilots. A unit always comes with its pilot, even with performance wise.

Okay, this is just for fun. I'm just going with my memory about what I saw in the series. Corrections are welcome.

I'll just brush off long range since I doubt any of the suits' long range weapons could hit the other....

In mid-range, Strike Freedom has the advantage since it has the weapons for such fight - Dragoons and those big guns. Wing Zero has the rifles, but it's just out numbered.

In short range, its going to be a draw.
Kira has good reflex, but I think Heero has more level of awareness and reflex than Kira. Think about how Heero could maintain catching up with Zero System, its no joke. Only people with high skills could match up to that. And with Zero System on your side, the predictability of the opponent became much higher, so It's going to be easier for Heero. However, even with all that said, Seed (God) Mode is also a factor for Kira, it has its own unpredictability at times...

So my thoughts? Its SF win if it can trap WZ into mid-range fighting. If WZ managed to get closed, its just going to be who can disarm the other first....

If you're talking about Kira piloting Strike, your not that right. He fought the gundams all right, but he's not alone. He had the AA and Mwu backing him up too.

Anyhow I'd just like to add up that Kira was fighting those ZAFT members who are military trained, unlike him who was living his life as a normal citizen until that point in his life.

sigh... basickly the zero system would compensate for any disadvantage Herro would have against Kira. In esence this means Herro can fight on level ground with a Cordinator. So, we have to debate this on a matter of the actuall skills of the pilots and quality of machines. Now, I'm to torn on this right now to make a decition, but at the verry least can we stop arguing about whether there is an advantage to either?
