New Xbox announced/confirmed!!!

So just like I was saying in quiet's thread about the motion sensitive controller's, Xbox was the first to step up and admit it. That it wasn't coming out with the current system but with their latest next gen system. I wonder what this one will be called, the Xbox 720? Although I do have to wonder if it's really the next gen system like it sounds, or rather the current one packaged with this new controller setup because even if there aren't a lot of details about it, an announcement about a next gen system is usually accompanied by a lot more fanfare.

What really frightens me is "Motion and voice sensing camera".....why? I can uderstand voice but motion? Is it if you're getting a seizure it calls 911 automatically?

Maybe Microsoft should try and expand the life of their consoles... The original Xbox was only supported for 4 years, and now I guess the 360 will be supported for 5 years. Most other game systems get supported at least 6 years, (PS2 well over 9 years).

When they unveiled the Natal thing, I was like, why do this, why not just release a new console? And here they are doing that heh. I hope this new console has a fricken controller. Regardless of what Microsoft says, you can't play a damn game without a real controller in your hands in some form.

It screams at me "cash-in," they're going to try milk the motion sensor technology because, like any other corporate company, they're out for themselves and it's all about $$$.
