Rebirth Mysithia

The desert of Mysithia. A vast expanse of sandy and dry land. A place full of dunes and dust storms. Yet, to reach my destination, I had to travers it with only a bag of supplies. " Will I survive this journey?" I thought. So, with one last look back at the brown spot that I knew was the fort, I set off into the desert.

It was after a few hours that I started to feel thirsty. I decided to see what Alastor had given me in the bag. I opened it and there I found a bottle of water and a bundle of what I guessed was food. I took the water and drank. Once the first drop touched my lips, I immdietly set the bottle back in the bag. Why? Once I drank that first drop, I didn't feel thirsty anymore! I suddenly snapped back to reality and saw that not only was I feeling normal again, my body moved on it's own as well! I gasped at what had transpired. Was it magic? " I don't know anything of what happened to this world so I suppose magic may have taken root." I thought. Yet again, my seemingly none ending line of questions was increased. Then, thought occured to me. Why hadn't I asked the Zia-Ren about this world? I could have answered all those questions! I hated myself for my own stupididty. I thought about going back but, something caught my eye.

It wasn't an object traveling towards me nor was it a sudden movment. It was the sky. It had begun to grow darker! I then realised that it was dusk time. Night was fast approaching and I was out in open ground. I needed to find a place to stay for the night. After 20 minutes, the first stars begane to pop up. I looked up in awe at their brilliance. 2 years since I'd seen those lights. Then, I saw another planet!. It was so close! I looked it it in awe and wonder. Then, something strange came up. It was as if the sun rose again except it didn't feel any warmer and it wasn't the normal yellow light. No, it was bright blue! I looked up at a blue shining sun that had just come up over the horizon! How was that possible? The sun can't come up in just those few minutes and it could not turn blue. My questions rose by the dozens. "What has this world become?" I thought.
Then, the blue star lauched a jet from one of it's sides. I then realised that this star was alot closer than it should be. I seemed that this star was a very small star. I looked at the jet as it went towards the planet. It was a magestic sight.

I then realised that I had yet to find a place to stay. I scaned the area and, to my astonishment, found a cave that was just a few yards away. I walked towards the cave and found it empty. Then, a thought came to me." What wull I sleep on?" I thought. Even though I had slept on floor for quite a while, but that was underground. On the surface, rather large creatures tend to come up to you. I didn't know if there was any life at all on Mysithia but I had my concerns. I opened the pack once again and scaned inside. Nothing. "Had Alastor expected me to sleep on the floor?" I thought. I was just about to do just that when I saw something on the pack. The Zien symbol. Yet, it wasn't a patch, it was metal! An idea came up. I touched the symbol and it begane to glow red! Just as I thought! It worked the same way as the symbol on the temple door. Then, another thought came up. Maybe if I copied Alastors hand movements, It would release something! I tried to think back and remember. It didn't take to long as I watched Alastor do it fully. I started to copy the movements. The red color begane to fade and yellow sprang up in it's place. I finally finshed and the bag shuttered. I looked at it in question. What happened? That was all it would do? I was wrong as the bag suddenly grew 3 times bigger. it continued to expand rapidly until it was about 6 feet tall. It then started to inflate. It only inflated slightly but I still saw the sign. The opening then stretched as far as my own body. I could acutally fit inside that bag! I then realised that I had just hit the nail right on the head. It was meant for you to sleep in it! It was like a sleeping bag! No pun intended. I then scaned the area. What had happened to the food and water? That question was answered as I saw a buldge in the bag. I pulled them out and set them aside next to me. Hopefully, whatever lived here wouldn't smell the food. I got into the bag, which was wonderfully fluffy and cozy, and drifted to sleep. A question about the magic that had just transpired came up but I shoved it aside. " This world is has changed. What I think is right might not be so now" I thought. Then, I walked into the embrace of my dreams.

Sorry. No pic this time.:\ Not that many out there that fit in with the story and the only one that is cool is too big and cuts off letters so..... Hope you still enjoy the story.

And so the story continues. I wonder what happened to Earth if this is still Earth!!! Well it's getting more and more exciting with more mysteries to solve... Good job! Keep it up!!!

Thx. Also, I don't know if this is a spoiler but, The ending is going to surprise you all SO bad!....I won't say more.

Just wait and see. Also, sorry but I'm trying to think of new paths for the story which is why I didn't post yesterday. But, I have to leave for 2 days starting tomorrow. I'll be back and post the next part on Tuesday.

Oh well don't worry about it! Sometimes waiting makes it all more exciting! It's better to take your time and write a good story than hurry and mess it up!
