Fox Girl Story Part 4

[Fox Girl]

He looked at his wonderful hardworking wife and said, “Don’t worry my dear. I’m sure that our guards will find them. Maybe I shouldn’t have been so hard on the boy. I know that our son loves nature and the world outside of our kingdom. If I ever see him again, I will tell him to follow his dream. I just wish I never had yelled at him.”
Sadness came over the King and for once in his life he cried. His wonderful wife gave him a kiss. She gave him a kind hug.
She said to him sadly, “Well, I do hope they find him soon. I heard from Maelyn’s parents that she was missing, too. I just hope she is ok. I know that our son loved her. He even had a journal about her. I just hope and pray that nothing bad happens to them.”
After the sad conversation, they went under the covers of their bed. For a while they just laid there, too upset to talk. It took them a long time before finally they fell asleep.
Maelyn woke up to the sound of sweet music. She got up and went to the living room. She sat on a nice couch. Light came by and gave her some nice cupcakes. The cupcake had blue berries and different fruits. She ate it and it was really good. Then Light gave her a cup of sweet tea. She asked her what was in it.
Light said, “It was made from a sweet berry cloud. It gives off nice sweet berries and we make tea out of it. The others and I really enjoy it.”
Maelyn sipped the tea and a warm feeling came over her. She sat further into the couch and felt relaxed. She watched the others come into the room and have their food and drinks. It was loud for a while. Light was sitting next to Maelyn. Velvet sat on the dark side of the couch. The only thing you can see of Velvet was her eyes. Maelyn was a little scared of her. They all finished her food and drink. For a while she watched the others chatting with each other. She felt odd and started getting thoughts of what was going on. Light could feel her worry and motioned her to follow her. Without a word, Maelyn walked down the long hallway to a door. Light opened the door to her room. The room was very bright and everything was white. At the end of the room was a big clouded window. It felt airy and soft to the touch. Her fluffy bed was made with nice silk. She patted the bed for Maelyn to sit.
Then Light began to tell Maelyn of the past. “You see my dear, before we were born there was good and there was bad. Our king, Risingsun, had a brother named Darken Sky. Darken Sky, like some children, felt rejected from the world. Their parents were different. You see, their father was very bad but the mother was good. Somehow the two crossed paths and fell in love, all in secret. Normally two people so different from each other would leave each other alone, but for some reason these two met. The mother gave birth to two sons. Of course, you know who they are. The two loved their sons very much, but Darken Sky felt that his parents only cared for Risingsun. The two brothers hated each other, to be honest. One day a beautiful girl about your age came through their kingdom. She had beautiful hair and sweet eyes. The two sons fell in love with the girl. However, she loved Risingsun and not Darken Sky. The two became a couple and married. Darken Sky, naturally, was hurt by this, and also extremely upset with Risingsun. There were even rumors that Darken Sky was going to kill his brother so he could be with Moonlight. Due to the rumors, which were true, the guards captured Darken Sky and Risingsun banished him from Moon Kingdom. This angered Darken Sky even further, and he decided to forget about Moonlight, and instead conquer the surrounding kingdoms. He knew that he needed some young people to help with is plan to take over the world. He heard from a clever, but horrible woman named Black Witch that Risingsun had had a son. This changed his plans slightly. Darken Sky decided to have his nephew help him conquer the world, which he knew would anger his brother deeply. With the help of the prince, Darken Sky could complete his plans, and at the same time, take revenge on Risingsun. Then, Black Witch saw you. She is, as I said, clever, and she has extremely strong powers, allowing her to transform. She creates many potions that can turn anyone evil. You, Maelyn, picked the potion that gave you the appearance of a fox, and also began to make you have evil thoughts. However, I find it strange that she picked you, and I cannot say why she did, for I do not know myself. Anyway, Black Witch also gave someone else a potion the day you became part-fox, and that person was Prince Sky. The potion that the prince drank was a powerful one. It will give him power, but it will also put horrible thoughts in his mind, making him become evil over time. Now, as I said, even your potion had the ability to put evil thoughts in your mind. I must take you to a special room. In this room, I can remove all of the evil thoughts that will take over. I promise you, Maelyn, that when we are through, you will have only your thoughts, and the potion will no longer have any control in how you are feeling.”

The plot thickens. But if the prince is already evil why isn't Maelyn evil? Oh! yes, almost forgot. The color of your text make it a little hard on the eyes to read the story especaly long things like this. Try red or dark red, it helps.
