Unusual Request..

Hello folks. I have kind of an unusual request..
I want to paint this drawing I made, but I really suck at painting, so if I do it manually I'm SURE I'll screw it up [more than what it is already] =(

SO, I searched for any program that would let me paint it decently, but I found none.
Sooo, is anyone able/would like to paint my crappy drawing? xD
If not possible I would appreciate any software recommendation or how I should do it..

Mhmmmm, have you ever tried a tablet? Drawing w/ mouse isn't impossible but it's really difficult and not as neat as done w/ tablet's pens. I'd suggest you'd get one and try out.
I don't know where are you from but if you live in USA you could try to look up for it in one of those stores like Best Buy and ask for the policy return. Sometimes you can buy a product and try it out for 2 weeks or so. If I were you I would do that.
Speaking of software, the one I use is Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Fireworks. However, I know there are also other freeware you could download from the web. How about GIMP?

Mm, yeah I have tried a tablet, but it was long ago and it worked a little weird xD [kinda like the cursor moved by itself].. but well, technology has improved so I should try one again.
But I don't live in USA so I don't really know about those stores.. I don't think a tablet is really expensive though..
..I've heard of GIMP, I just haven't downloaded it yet because I've been having some problems with my computer lately, so I think I'll just *Format C:\

So I just wanted to hear some recommendations first..
Oh and I don't have a lot of editing experience, would it be hard to give color to that poor drawing?

What kind of colors do you want it to be? I might be able to do it, but it depends on my schedual. As for what I can do, well... I made my currenty avatar from scratch if that tells you anything. I color with photoshop elements 6.0 and a WACOM BAMBOO tablet.

Mm as for the colors, I may want them to be
Hair: Brown or blonde, wichever you prefer
Eyes: Green would be ok..
And for the uniform, I don't really care about it's color, but if you don't know what to use I can give you details via PM..

@shiki - I have some spare time today, so I'll see if I can get to it. I will need to outline it though, for it to look semi decent. Is that alright? (it bolds the lines, that's all.)

EDIT: upon closer inspection I probably won't even have to outline it actually. We'll have to see though, after coloring is done.

@spirit - No I didn't make this particular one. My friend from the site that the banner links you to when clicked made it. This is the sig that I myself made. If you'd like to tell me how to have multiple sigs that'd be awesome, but until then I'm going to keep my current one.

But I think the books will be an actual pain in the ass to paint, don't do it if it's too troublesome.

Thank god the stockings get to be black. I had them red and it looked like crap. =D I'm almost done, so don't fret.
