Someone from work was actually depressed about it today. He said he couldn't sleep because Obama won and he was worried all the black people were going to riot or do something bad. I called him a racist and he said it wasn't because he was black but because Obama was a terrorists because of his last name. So I asked him how would he know that Obama is a terrorist, where did he get his information or facts from and how does he know that, that information is the truth? He started to stutter and said it's because he knew it was true cause he believed his sources and when I asked him what his sources was, he just replied with a mumble about something or someone and turned away saying he forgot something at the job site.

if obama did lose i'm sure there would of been riots breaking out. a friend of mine in chicago was worried if he lost the election riots would of broken out. why did you call him a racist for? if he was calling them the n-word or other racist comments then he is.

That was the dumbest thing I've heard all week.

Anyway, I'm satisfied with Obama's win. Socialism or not, his policies are more or less what the country needs at this point. And it's not like we've never used socialist policies before.

He really does have a natural charisma. He turned out more voters than we've seen in this country for a long time. In fact, he had more white votes than any other candidate since Lyndon Johnson, not to mention an overwhelming amount of young votes of all races.

Even if Obama doesn't turn out to be as perfect as many think he will, he was still important in raising the political awareness of this country.

Not being a resident of the US I was actually surprised when the news made front page of my country's newpaper. With Obama winning a few of the black ppl in my class were all "woohoo a black man is president! Martin Luther King's dream is here!" I just told em to shut the hell up and burn in hell. No matter who became president, I highly doubt that they'll do anything that'll affect my country directly because no one knows where it is! You can't even see us on a world map!

Therefore I personally thought that the people in my country were, as usual, talking with an empty head...
