Metroid or Halo

I'm just wondering what do you all like more Metroid or Halo? Just choose and say why you like it more than the other.

I'm a Metroid fan myself I've played and beaten all the games cept for Super Metroid and Metroid Prime 2. Metroid games definetly have better boss fight, and a bit more challenging than Halo even on Legendary. There are only a few boss battles in the Halo series like the boss fight against that Elite on that fore-runner ship on the planet next to the Halo ring that was destroyed. The Scarabs, Tartorus, and Guilty Spark are really the only bosses of the series.

Now comparing Metroid Prime to Halo Metroid Prime games up to the third game have better graphics. Yeah Metroid Prime 3 graphics weren't that great and it pushed the Wii to it's limits graphics wise. The Prime games have bosses are challenging and the games take sometime to beat.

Don't get me wrong I love Halo. The upgrades Samus gets can kick Master Chief's ass. She has missles, beam weaponry that can turn her opponents into ash, or into a frozen treat. Not to mention beams that can go through certain objects, and make repairs to a energy circuit. She really doesn't need to worry about getting out of her suit to go under water or into space. Only thing she needs to do is find the upgrade for her suit to have normal movement in water or lava. When she needs to get into a certain area she can go into her Morph Ball. She has a unlimited amount of beam usage unlike Chief who has to find ammo or replace energy weapons.

Her shielding is more advance she can take more damage once her shielding has been updated with energy cells. Only dis-advantge is her shields can't recharge by themselves she needs to find a recharge room or health.

I'm not sure why you would compare the series. Just because almost half of the Metroid series is FPS/Adventure similar to how Halo is FPS? Or because Samus and Master Chief look similar?

Metroid is my favorite series of games ever though, so...yeah. I obviously prefer Metroid.

b/c these two games rival each other. my friends at church would have a debate over it and it was half and half.

I say, they are equal. However, Halo is infamous as its style as a first person shooter, while Metroid is famous for its platforming puzzles and it's feeling of isolation in the game.
