hmm. resident evil would probably be the best pick. That was one of my first playstation games. or bushido blade. throwing swords through someone and seeing the blood spatter out would probably be considered mature....
edit: dammit, a2ngod, I totally did play duke nukem before any of that. and you snuck it in there.
but thinking now, the first mature one was a computer game called dopewars. it had no graphics but the object of the game was that you had one month to deal drugs around new york. the more money the better. I made over $3,000,000 and nobody touched my score thereafter. it was my brother's game too so he was pissed.
