that's an specious argument, while a number of ppl do happen to discover anime through the shows that networks like CN and Animax air, they also find stuff by seeing it at the store, seeing manga, friends, amv's on youtube, and ads all over the internet, while the anime industry might lose a couple of ppl, I don't think they would lose the majority of the incoming crowd, b/c the ppl that already like anime would be more likely to push it on their friends if it didn't air on tv, and if it was banned in the US, ppl would be more likely to go online looking for it as that which we are told we can't have is what we are most tempted by
