If I had the option of never dying(in this sense a similar situation to captain Jack Harkness)l, it would be a choice I would spend some time considering because of the possible(if unlikely) situations that dying would be preferable to living. Situations like being buried alive(cave-in/serial killer or whatever) and suffering for hours/days/months/1-1,000,000years unable to stop the pain, or even living through planetary catastrophes(ice-ages/sun-dying) and "living" on a dead planet.
