i live in northern ireland, primarily part of the United kingdom now, after the british took over. it is run by a shaky unstable collaborative government between two parliament parties who cannot agree or tell the truth. mostly due to the mistrust and years of violence and retaliation.
i dare say that there is nothing good to say about living here, no one likes anyone, the people have grown to be narrow minded, paranoid and needlessly violent.
because of religion (Catholics vs. protestants mainly) the people here cannot even live together, every town is divided up, where the catholic live in one place and protestants live in the other. this is known as segregation and it is a common theme in the UK.
young people feel the need to riot, kill, bomb, join dissident groups and stereotype anything that moves all because of a past which does not even apply to their generation. how will this kingdom come to mend itself if this continues?
of course there's the queen, who sits in her royal chambers doing fuck all. then the police who cant do anything for fear of their own lives and the parliament? useless! no one trusts them after they caused the credit crunch, stealing money from our bank accounts just to buy a second car or maybe even a holiday house, leaving us with nothing.
and that is what i have to say about where i live. thanks for reading. :3
