But that does not make a game worthy of everyone. Secondly, you don't seem to understand what a "hardcore" gamer is. As opposed to a casual gamer, who just plays basically anything that's in front of them and doesn't really get into more in-depth games like RPGs and such, a "hardcore" gamer is just someone who:
a.) plays a fuckton of video games
b.) appreciates video games for what they are
c.) doesn't buy minigame shovelware trash
A "hardcore" gamer isn't someone who needs gore. If anything, a "hardcore" gamer is someone who knows that gore isn't always necessary.
Lastly, "hardcore" as a term is fucking stupid, can we as a community stop using it now?
