Don't give me such nonsense as to say they're not distracting at all. People who text while driving are even worse. Honestly, I don't care whether or not eating and drinking is any more or any less of a distraction than talking on a cellphone. Just don't do either of the three and focus on driving.
I don't see why you can't just stay off the damn phone until you get to where you're going. Jesus, people. What did we all do before we even had cellphones? You don't have to always have that phone to your ear 24/7.
