Is anyone of you in college or have someone in family who goes to college? If yes, then you could go onto Adobe's website and see if you could get the student's version and save some money. [I'm just trying to help]
I remember that Adobe had some great promotions last year and year before and they were selling CS2 or CS3 for really good price. Or you could at least download the trial for 30 days to play a little bit. Other than that... you could try other freeware that is available online.
