The bodies are actually voluntarily donated to science. This exhibit came through here a long while back and I regret that I didn't get to see it. Though a little gruesome it's a rather fascinating look at our anatomy and what makes up us. A piece of the exhibit had people and a few other animals deli sliced into sections so you could see the body through and through.
