So what favorite oldie but goodies do you have for a Rock n Roll bands form 1945-1990?

My Favorite is the band Queen. They are greatly known for their song called 'Bohemian Raphsady' and I also love their song "Another One Bites the Dust".

They just don't make rock songs like they used to in the 70's. Listen to and tell me that's not fckin EPIC. You just don't hear guitars do that any more these days :(

Oh, and I'm talking about 70's ROCK. Not Metal. Metal sucks.

It's hard to pick one favorite, it's hard to even pick 10 favorites. But I guess off the top of my head I am a huge fan of America and their songs "Horse with no name" and "Carry on my wayward son"

I'm talking all Rock n' roll, metal is not what I was thinking either; (Queen is rock/Hard rock)

I've seen people confuse the two before. I mean, I can see how people would consider metal as a sub-genre of rock. I just don't find screaming inaudible crap into a mic as songs.

hmm well I'd have to say Pink Floyd-another brick in the wall.

Queen's pretty awesome, but my favorite has always been Guns n Roses. It might just be how I was raised (my dad always had either GnR or ZZTop playing), but it's always been a favorite of mine and very nostalgic. My dad's song for me is sweet child o' mine cuz it came out about a year before I was born and that he relates to that song because of me.

I'm also a Styx fan.
