so if i where to say we would never be able to see anime or buy manga ever again how would you react
...the thing is its no joke
...i was reading this thing randumly
and it said something about america not going to allow anymore anime in the us
i alomot burst wanting to write the president
but as i keap reading on,it was a migth happen thing.out of releaf i cried(not really)but i was happy but i thought about it some more what if it happens
i would really end up crying

If that happened the "America not allowing anime in US" thing, well honestly I would just laugh and keep doing what I am doing - watching it on the internet.

yeah I say screw that, there is no way they would really ban anime, b/c if they did they have to start banning video games and 70% of the shows on tv, it's just not good economic policy for starters and if they start banning something like that they start treading on First Amendment type stuff, although if I happened to live somewhere that this was more likely to happen, I'm w/ Koopa, internet piracy ftw! although I don't like reading manga online, quality sucks

People still watch anime on TV well we could still watch it online ut all of the new people who start watching it online ecause of the shows on tv. In short it would slowly die down ecause people will have no experince of seeing it on tv to want to watch it online.

do you know were this started? it probably from the kid who pulled a gaara and died, but it would be to hard to block the internet. plus i can always move to canada.

that's an specious argument, while a number of ppl do happen to discover anime through the shows that networks like CN and Animax air, they also find stuff by seeing it at the store, seeing manga, friends, amv's on youtube, and ads all over the internet, while the anime industry might lose a couple of ppl, I don't think they would lose the majority of the incoming crowd, b/c the ppl that already like anime would be more likely to push it on their friends if it didn't air on tv, and if it was banned in the US, ppl would be more likely to go online looking for it as that which we are told we can't have is what we are most tempted by

and just give anime 10cc's of some kind of drug and it'll snap out of it. I saw it on doogie howser MD, works all the time.
