looking for an anime
 

Hi, i just signed up in the hopes that someone here can help me find an anime i watched years ago. I think it came out in 2001 or 02. I cant describe it very well but it reminded me of pokemon except kinda creepy. It had a boy who was friends with some big creature, and there were other big creatures in the show that flew around being dangerous . And it took place in a japanese town. I cant remember much about it but it was kinda creepy and i havnt seen much or any anime like that.

Hey, it wasnt digimon. Sorry i cant say much about it. I think it was just a random unpoplar series i saw a few eps of years ago. It only had 12 eps i think.
