For any really curious, this is a fantastic documentary on the role of technology in the modern world, and its effects on people, business, the military, and society in general. It focuses on digital media, the internet, and personal devices mostly, but it's a good springboard for larger discussion.

So, I'd like to toss around some points of view on the pros and cons of our increasing dependence on technology. Everything from iPods to stem cell research is up for grabs - I want to keep this as open as possible for the sake of variety and breadth of perspective.

Yeah, I think the mingled advantages and far-reaching consequences of our techno-saturated society are far less significant than pizza toppings and the choice between swords and mini-guns, too.

that is quite intresting but you know the problem is that even if the effects are bad we really can not avoide them since we are already addicted to this technology

well there is something i really do hate about media is that nothing is true they make us take wrong ideas littel by littel untile it becomes a part of our culture which is wrong they really do play in our mentality adding what they wants and removing what the dont like it feels like we are dolls in there hands
