Trials Of Pain
 

Sometimes there are no words
no clever quotes to neatly sum up what's happened that day.
days were there is nothing, nothing but just pain.

Were I watch this world, blur by
Asking - Is there something I could have done?
Something to prevent what happened?

Days were old, healed wounds open up
and all I feel is pain, inexplicable, unbearable
pain.

Distrust
Betrayal
Weakness
Countless tears
Loneliness....

Day's spend wondering, Questioning.
There were days were, I would watch, undeserving people live my dream, I longed for and I couldn't do a thing, but sit and watch.

That's it before
my past I left behind
for I am on a new path now...

Arms of my love
wrap around me and hold me and rock me
as I smile
Knowing the pain is slipping away
Knowing that the days filled with pain
are now, not so common.
